Okay, I had to come an redeem the store's overall review after Mr. Adrian's honest opinion which I…read morecan definitely respect. Being a 4 stars and above kinda woman, if I would have reviewed the previous stars from the first post, I most likely wouldn't have visited. With that being said, I can agree with a few of the things Mr. Adrian mentioned in his post. So here's my perspective. Working in downtown Griffin, I pass this store daily. There are not many stores I pass, where I can view their articles and say to myself, wow, that would look good on me. First and foremost, I love this downtown village area. It's very eclectic and many shops have good finds--so don't sleep on Downtown Griffin. The Dollhouse is boutique house in an old historical building and it is obvious by some of the architecture like embossed ceilings and old carpet. It is spacious but not cluttered or over stocked with clothing. It's cute and could use some updating to the flooring and other fixtures as profits roll in. Nothing turned me away. The dressing rooms are not 5 star by any means okay, so don't expect Hollywood glam! They reminded me of some old church room in the back of an old brick and mortar pentecostal church, where you would go before baptism and change into your baptismal robe. I swear internally I was humming, "Take me to the water". I think I've grown up around too many storefront churches. I digress!! I think that the type of clothing that is purchased is not for everyone like Mr. Adrian stated; however, I think there is something for everyone, whether it be a purse, shoes, jewelry, scarf, jacket, etc. I will also say, if you have curves and are looking for pieces that flatter your body, allow you to be sexy but still maintain some class and keep it somewhat conservative, you will definitely be pleased. Also, the pricing is good. Not your typical boutique prices. Things I purchased ranged from $22-80. Not too shabby for something you won't find on everyone walking down the street. This is why I love boutiques. Onto the clothing... Everything I tried on accentuated my body in the right areas while offering forgiveness in other areas. My stomach is my most troubling area. I'm not a plus size woman per se but I am petite, vacillate between a size 10-12 depending on the day. Today, felt like a size 12 day and typically, I would feel a bit too plump and bloated for my liking to even try on some clothes. Everything fit great and felt great. There were about 3 other women in the store and after I would try on something and come outside of the dressing room to see myself in the big mirror, their support was so uplifting. Payment Process: Streamline. I think she uses Clover or Square. It was really simple. Parking: Street parking via parallel, designated parking spots or parking at further distances and walking. I parked in a lot off of Taylor Street and walked a block up. It was a beautiful day and a nice walk. No complaints. Bottom Line: This store has very unique clothing, that you won't see on everyone, are flattering to curvy women and have a decent price point. I would definitely recommend you visit. The owner was very sweet and helpful. If you see something that is not in your size, she can order it.

The Dollhouse slays. I met the owner today. Not only is she an artist with fabulous items that…read moreare reasonably priced, but she is willing to locate and customize for you. She was friendly, talkative, and a clothing expert unlike owners of other boutiques I've visited in the area and in Gwinnett County. I purchased two items and can't wait to go back for more. The Dollhouse just became my favorite boutique. Yay!!!!

I was invited to a Western Party and already had boots and a hat . I hadn't worn the hat in over 9…read moreyears and it was a dusty, moldy mess. I really was embarrassed that I had taken such poor care of a hat, that was a very expensive purcahse for me at the time the hat was bought. There are two other Horestown locations in "Atlanta" and some how I chose this, the furthest away location to bring the hat for cleaning and boy am I glad I did. One of the cashiers directed me to the Hat Room to speak with someone about cleaning and shaping the hat, and while I knew the hat was in horrible shape, she never blinked an eye. I walked around and was shocked. This is by far the largest of the 3 locations, they had boots in every shape, style and color. I went in to get the hat cleaned and shaped, which is a free service and almost spent $300 on a pair rust/brown/floral cowboy boots. I hurried up and handed those boots back over and made my way over to where the horse feed and saddles, and accessories were. This felt safer, since I don't own an horse and won't be caught up in the impulse spending of this place. By the time I strolled back over to the hat room, the hat had been cleaned, shaped and adorned with a peacock feather. The hat lady offered me a selection of other feathers and I chose a different one that I knew would match perfectly with the outfit I was wearing to the Western Party. and I purchased a hat band for Antone time, cause I promise to take much better care of that hat for the next 8 years, so I also bought a waterproof, dust proof, mold proof hat storage case. Excellent Service, attentive staff, large selections of hats, boots, belts and dang near everything else. No refunds, store credits only within 30 days.

This is a great store. It has tons of mens and women's clothes, hats galore and of course boots…read more It's a mega western store! The hat shop has tons of selection and the people working in the hat shop were awesome because they were shaping hats, removing and replacing hat bands, etc. very professional. A special thank you to Annabelle who helped place a special order for me from one of their sister stores. She was very patient and kind!
