Website and appointment were easy to navigate. Selection was good along with various price points. We were very happy the titanium heart could be anodized to a color we wanted for just a few minutes wait. Two customers were served ahead of us and it seemed like the process is fairly efficient especially if you know what you want. We were happy to have plenty of time as it was our 1st time and nerves were not bad. The location was very clean and tools were all from unopened sterilized packaging. My friend and I walked in to Three Fates last night on a total whim and had such a great experience. We came in about 30 min before closing and asked if she had time for us m. Which she did, but there was someone before us and it would have to be after closing if that was ok with us. Totally fine for us and we so appreciated her being willing to stay! I just had an amazing experience getting my ears pierced at Three Fates. Penny took such good care of me and she doesn't know it yet, but she will be giving me lots more piercings in the future. She answered all my questions and made me feel really comfortable. She fixed my previous first holes that were not symmetrical and gave me my seconds. I think my ears are so cute. I just love them! The store has a great selection of jewelry and I was surprised how affordable everything was. $25 for all my piercings is a great deal. I was quoted $50 for the first piercing+ $25 for each one after that at another studio also in TO and their jewelry was much more expensive. Still, I feel that the quality and customer service I received was much better at 3 Fates. It's also nice that they are open everyday and you can book an appointment online. Thank you! read more

I came here wanting to love this shop. I read reviews and it seemed like the perfect place. I am giving one star because, on the positive side, the space was clean. However, to have my nose pierced and to have one ear piercing, plus the cost of jewelry for my nose and earrings be over $900 is absolute ridiculous. There are no prices listed anywhere and I felt completely robbed when I went up to the register with the pieces I picked. They act friendly with you and suggest pieces hoping you will fall in love with the item before knowing the prices. Despite the high prices, I held out hope that the jewelry would be extremely high quality and would last a lifetime. Unfortunately this is not the case. I had my piercings done just a few months ago and already every single earring has broken because they are flimsy and do not hold up well over time. On top of that, the piercer suggested a nose stud that was way too short for the thickness of a nostril and it pressed into my skin, creating a keloid. She is supposed to be an expert and suggest items that will heal, not harm. I really wanted to love this shop, but their pricing is out of control and it is unethical not to list the prices. I was encouraged to purchase a nose ring that was not meant for a nostril and caused a painful, unsightly keloid. After taking time to reflect, the entire experience felt predatory and manipulative, in my opinion. They act so friendly that they lull you into a false sense of security. Then they push the most expensive, low quality jewelry on you and don't reveal the price until you are at the counter. read more

I can truthfully say Three Fates is the nicest, most clean, unassuming but still classy piercing barbqto give special shout out to Penny! I've had a really crappy couple of days, losing a really close friend of 23 hyears a few days ago. Penny understood my drive for dopamine, and she placement on every piercing. If I didn't like something exactly, she was happy to change it, and boy is she quick. I literally didn't even feel That's when I actually got a little bit of sensation in my body and I'm really grateful for it cuz I needed it. I was able to make an appointment online very easily to get a nose stud, and I brought my daughter with me too. It's been quite the year and I wanted to do something different and fun for myself. The shop is immaculate and very professional, and we met some amazing people while waiting since we were early. When she told me my ear anatomy was great for a daith after my daughter asked about hers, I decided to go for it and get that piercing too. My daughter has wanted a conch so we decided to do that too. Penny was so accommodating, and never made us feel rushed in the least. She answered every question in detail, and throughout the piercing process, she told us everything she was doing, which really put us both at ease. Oh my gosh, what an incredible experience piercing my sweet angel Daughter's ears for the first time. She had begged for years to do it and I wanted to wait until she was old enough to really take care of them. I booked an appointment online, which was super convenient and she was very responsive in securing my spot. We were seeing as soon as we got there and there was one other person who had just left. It's nice that there's no one else in the space when you were getting your piercing done since it can be kind of an intense moment. The offering of earrings she has is just incredible so beautiful from fine jewelry to well-made first piercing pieces that will not infect the ears. She took her time used a pen to mark the space and then carefully pierced her ears without a gun, which was so wonderful! She is friendly and puts you at ease. We will be returning to have her check the ears and buy some more earrings from her because she has such a wonderful assortment. I went here for a naval piercing recently. This is why I gave this shop 2 stars: The Good: - The woman was very friendly & answered all of my questions. - The shop is fancy looking inside The Bad: - They only had about 5 naval rings to choose from, and none had prices on them (they also don't have anything gold) - The total cost of the piercing came out to almost $200, which is insane....? - She handed me a bottle of saline solution, but never told me there was a $20 charge for it. She just handed it to me and said "here's your saline!". I only noticed the charge after I was home and looking at the receipt. - Last and definitely not least, the piercing is completely crooked. I'm so disappointed and will never go back, not even to get it fixed. read more
