Marie is a delight and always greets you with a lovely warm smile. Most Saturdays, I venture into the City and straight away head into National Pharmacies. Marie, goes above and beyond to help. Marie's attitude is "Pleasing you is Important" An excellent quality to have, not many people have this attitude, in this day & age. Do you expect me to be happy waiting in line if I had a really runny nose? Where are your tissue boxes?! -No-one approached me, at all, even after walking up and down twice! I had to go to the General Enquiries counter myself, and even upon arriving there, there was no-one at the counter and I still had to wait even longer. Do you expect me to be that patient, if I was really sick? -You seem to be more into selling make-up rather than functioning like a proper pharmacy (to help the sick). What I Like About You: -General Enquiries lady was informative about the best brands to buy -She told me that your professional service and value sets you apart from the other pharmacies -Cold & Flu Medications -The back wall is full of Vitamins & Supplements -Optical store It does have a convenient location in Gawler Place. They don't lie - they do have a great range and lowest prices guaranteed…read more From "superfoods" like beetroot juice and chia seeds to an isle of hand creams, butt creams or make-you-look-young creams, there is plenty of selection to help stock up your bathroom cabinet. The isles are a little cluttered and really require you to walk up and down them to find what you are looking for, but they do have great ranges of almost every brand of health and medicinal product you could think of. Cheap makeup from all the brand names like Revlon, L'Oreal and Maybelline and perfumes from all of Hollywood like Kardashian Kalure or Brittany's Hit Me (note: may not be the actual name of the perfumes) can also be found here at a bargain. Unfortunately, the only thing that lets this place down is that the prescription counter is incredibly slow and they have a weird system where no one mans the drop off or pick up areas, so you kind of dawdle around hoping someone is working there and has got your order. Staff are constantly stocking the isles and serving at least 2-3 check out counters so the rest of the experience is quick and efficient and worth the time if you want to save significantly on the price of your script, vitamins or beauty products.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and they seem to be everywhere so you're not standing there for ages waiting to be served. I used to buy Paw Paw lip balm from here all the time because they sell it slightly cheaper than other places, and when you're using a product all the time it adds up. The service is good, helpful staff and there's this one guy who is always cheery and cracking jokes. I haven't seen him for a while though, hmmm. Another plus: it's situated smack bang in Rundle Mall. Very convenient in my uni days.

Half the time I end up chatting to the assistant for twenty minutes while she runs through the various products that suit what I'm after. The scripts also get filled pretty fast. If it's not busy, it can be as little as two or three minutes! How fast is that?!? They also have some great little gift ideas for those people that you have to buy an xmas present for, but you have no idea what to get them.
