Even though the manufacturer kept sending them the wrong part (not their fault), they persisted in communicating with the manufacturer and sending back the wrong part over and over again until they received the right one and installed it. And this was for a fireplace that I didn't even buy from Pinnacle--so this project was not a money-maker for them at all. But they were so gracious in agreeing to work on it, and in helping me with getting this fireplace to be functional! In the end, it works perfectly--because of them!! Very reasonable pricing too. This is an integrous, excellent company; I recommend them 150%!!

I do not take these reviews lightly. I get no pleasure out of writing negative comments about…read moreanyone or any business. However, in this case I felt it necessary to share my experiences. Maybe this review will save someone from having to deal with the dishonesty and deceitfulness I have experienced from Pinnacle. In February 2022 my furnace went out. I called Pinnacle because I have known one of their employees on a personal level for nearly 20 years. The owner of Pinnacle came out right away and gave me a quote to replace both the furnace and AC unit. I was very impressed with how quickly they came out and were willing to get us a working furnace. I signed the contract for the new heat pump with a ten year parts and labor warranty, nearly $10,000. The Pinnacle techs came the next day, performed the install and we had heat again. So far, so good...right? Fast forward six months. We receive a letter in the mail from Pinnacle. The letter is contract for bi-annual maintenance services, nearly $300 a year. The letter states that the maintenance contract is required for the warranty to be valid. Nowhere in the original contract that I signed did it state that there was a required maintenance contract for the ten year life of the warranty. This adds approximately $3000 to the cost of ownership of the furnace. Pinnacle tells me that I do not need to purchase the maintenance contract, but in the next sentence tells me that the warranty that I paid for will be void. Pinnacle has put us in a no win situation. We were sold something, six months later we find out that what we purchased will cost us more money every year. Do I swallow my pride and write them a check for $300 every year, or stand my ground and not give them another penny? In the end, they win either way. To make matters worse, Pinnacle knows exactly the situation they are putting their customers in. Hopefully this helps other potential Pinnacle customers avoid the deceitful business practices. In good faith I could not and would not recommend anyone using Pinnacle for their heating and cooling needs.

If I could give Ryan Vakulskas zero stars, I would. This is the first time I've ever bashed a…read morecompany online in my life, so that's saying something. I made the massive mistake of hiring his company to do some dirt work, lay some concrete, and remove and replace a retaining wall in my yard. It was a $12k estimate. Things started off fine, and demolition was accomplished in one day. Then when they poured the concrete, he claimed the concrete itself cured too quickly for them to properly finish it. They blamed Standard Concrete. Suits from this company came out and inspected the concrete and found nothing wrong with it, but Ryan said he wouldn't put his name on the work, and came out and tore up most of it without my permission. He ruined my entire backyard with his skid steer while doing it. His guys framed to repour, but then he quit working and kept asking for more money. I ended up paying the $12k estimate in full just to get him to come finish the job, but even that wasn't enough. He now wanted more money than that, and refused to complete any more work. He was awful to me and treated me horribly, and at one point even texted me "F*** you" among other things. I still have every text he sent me for proof. I finally refused to work with him anymore. I only got the retaining wall removed, my backyard destroyed, and maybe 100 foot of sidewalk done for $12k. I hired another company to complete the job because I couldn't stand the thought of seeing or talking to Ryan again. He's truly an awful person.

I'll make this short and sweet…read more They fried my newly planted baby grass and newly seeded lawn. I told the sales rep from day one when we set up the service, the side yard was all dirt and did not need to be treated, along with some other areas not to treat. That I was going to plant grass in the fall when it was cooler and after I had had a chance to prune the trees so there was sufficient sunlight for the grass to grow. Again, told them this day one. That doesn't include the couple of times I spoke to customer service and discussed notes to be left for the technician. They also drove an ATV over my newly seeded baby grass area during their chemical treatment, while it was wet. I was watering the lawn twice a day, and they have left the yard spun out and with ruts, it tore up the grass and the yard. Now they're trying to say that I never told them not to do the side yard, despite the fact that it was dirt and they didn't treat it all summer long. Seriously? It was too hot to plant grass during midsummer, so I planted it during the fall, and their technician actually came to the door and said they didn't want to treat that area because it was bad for the grass, which we already knew but appreciated him pointing it out. Our expectation was that they weren't going to treat it in the first place! Also, a technician treating our lawn informed their sales department that we may need assistance seeding, so they sent us a quote for them to seed the yard. I sent two emails back stating we were going to do it ourselves. Two emails because he sent a second email asking about the quote again. Perhaps if they paid attention a little more closely, this wouldn't have happened. He obviously didn't bother to read the first email I sent, otherwise, why send a second email asking the same questions after I had already declined? Another opportunity where they had the knowledge that we were going to be planting seed and have baby grass. They were perfectly aware of the fact that it was baby grass that can't tolerate that harsh chemical treatment! They themselves came to our door to inform us as I mentioned above. Now, nothing. It's our fault. They're saying that we didn't tell them that information, and they don't have the phone calls recorded to back up the information. How convenient for them! If they record the calls, they should have the calls I had on day one with their sales rep, right? There would be the proof that I told them about that side yard. And again, didn't treat it all summer long, and now they do? That beautiful green baby grass is mostly missing, dead or dying now. Thanks for that, Sharp Lawn Care! Save yourself the frustration and money, and find someone else who isn't going to drop the ball and leave you without a beautiful lawn.
