To secure the estimate, a 20% non-refundable deposit was required via cash/debit. At start, an additional 30% is collected. Remaining balance is collected upon completion. Credit cards are not accepted. We were given a large color palette to choose from at our leisure. Once we chose our colors, Bradley came out to verify the colors we had chosen. I especially like this step since we ended up not liking two of the colors we had originally chosen. At the last minute, we noticed that our front deck was rotting so it was a waste of money to paint it since it needs to be replaced. Bradley was understanding and adjusted our estimate accordingly. Bradley and his team arrived early and worked diligently throughout the day hand-painting our trim, pillars and front door. Clean-up was spotless; we couldn't even tell the crew had been there. Bradley was communicative, friendly, honest, professional and reliable. We are pleased to state that Bradley and his crew will be our go-to contractors for all of our future painting needs.

Everything Alberto (the main guy behind TS Home Improvement) touches turns to gold and I guarantee he is the guy you want to work with. We had water damage caused by a slow leaking pipe in the wall behind our kitchen sink and we found Alberto right after learning it wasn't going to be covered by insurance. We also happened to be weeks out from the due date for our third child. After having many general contractors visit our home and give us bids, we hired Alberto. He came into our home and made an extremely stressful situation not only feel manageable, but also helped us figure out several sensible upgrades to roll into the project that have helped us love our home even more. We were stressed out to the max when he first met with us and I will never forget his patience and kindness in helping us wrap our arms around this project and figure out how to approach it. My husband and I are not particularly handy and tend to lean toward hiring work out rather than DIY. In the past we've done a studs-out remodel (working with contractors) on one house, plus worked with a bunch of contractors when we made some upgrades upon buying our current house. All this to say: Alberto operates in a stratosphere above and beyond every contractor we've ever worked with. I am pretty Type A and have never worked with a contractor who actually may pay more attention to detail than I do -- seriously he is so impressive. Having someone work in your home for weeks on end is also a pretty personal experience and Alberto is someone you actually look forward to seeing each day. He is kind, incredibly thoughtful, patient, and so easy to talk to and work with. He and his brother, Alejandro, work so clean that my husband and I were amused that the areas of the house where they were working were cleaner than other parts of our house. They are also just such good humans. Only one example of this is that one day when I had a huge Costco order delivered on our stoop they brought the groceries into the kitchen for me without saying a thing and I didn't realize it until they had left for the day. On top of providing a remarkably smooth experience, Alberto is extremely skilled at everything he does. He is one of those people you just learn to trust with a project because he is so experienced and capable. He kept impressing us with everything he did looking better than we could have expected. All in, Alberto demo'd and repaired a bunch of framing and siding on the exterior of our house, repaired the damage in our kitchen (including floor joists and a load bearing wall with dry rot, repairing our cabinets, and replacing flooring), replaced our kitchen sink and some tiling that was broken while a plumber was fixing the pipes, completely gutted and remodeled our laundry room, including new floors and drywall, installing cabinets and building a custom waterfall butcher block washing machine box and folding counter. He also did random tasks like hang our new tv, install a light, and other miscellaneous things that were so helpful to cross off our to do list. The work he performed on my home caused multiple issues that required immediate and costly repairs. This included: * Improper solar fan installation that caused a roof leak and damage to insulation and electrical components * HVAC duct work that came apart and reduced airflow--blowing hot air into the attic instead of the home * A saddle valve installation that led to water damage on custom-built garage cabinets I've had to spend over $1,800 out of pocket to fix the damage he caused. It gets worse--after the damage, he completely disappeared. I tried contacting him for nearly a month with no response. When he finally replied, he apologized, admitted fault, and said he would "make things right" and asked for one week to reimburse me. That never happened. After explaining my goals, he did by far the best job of explaining in detail what the process was going to look like, each step he was going to take, what materials he was going to use, and more importantly the "why" behind everything. This was confidence inspiring to someone who isn't intimately knowledgeable about construction, as it helped educate me on what to look for when shopping for quotes. When you're spending thousands of dollars on a project you generally want to know what you're getting, otherwise you simply place the trust on the contractor to not cut corners. Not only did David provide a detailed documentation of every step he planned to take, he pointed out the details in person while the project was ongoing. I changed my mind mid-project and decided I wanted several more square feet of concrete, and he was able to modify the plan no problem. They've done everything from show up on a weekend evening at my home to help trace the source of a leak/drywall damage to completely gutting and remodeling our four-unit apartment building. I've worked with every facet of their company - administration, project management, carpenters, painters, subcontractors, etc. I always go to Monet first because their quality and honesty are incomparable. And I've worked with many different types of contractors, for many projects, on many levels. Their communication is almost always excellent, so when delays happen or issues come up (because issues will come up, especially on large projects) I'm able to get answers on revised estimates and schedule impact. Monet is also excellent about billing to estimates and keeping to schedule as much as is within their control, especially if that's an important aspect of the project for you. Any issues I've had with Monet have been extremely minor and the owner, Dave, and his team have always been quick to respond to any concerns I have. Do I occasionally have to chase them for a response? Yes. Usually? No (and especially not on anything critical). Are they frequently busy, and it's sometimes hard to get on their schedule? Yes. However, I've learned to avoid contractors who are always readily available, no signs of busy-ness in sight. Because the good ones...yeah, they're hard to get a hold of sometimes because they're exactly that - good at what they do and, therefore, in high demand. On a final note - because of the sheer volume of work they've done for us, I've also been in the position to see what happens when things come up that need repair/attention months or even a year or more later. And consistent with their excellence and integrity, they've been right there to stand behind their work down the road.

Their quote is very reasonable and we didn't have to do a lot of back and forth with insurance adjuster. The work itself is great. All crew respect that we were still living in the house and cleaned up before they leave daily. The quality of the work is great.
