It doesn't offer a big waiting room with nice amenities or free coffee. It isn't fancy or impressive to look at but it is owned by a guy who is an old school grease monkey who loves cars, trucks and tools. Kevin clearly loves what he does and takes pride in it. He has become a family friend and he has a loyal local following because he is the real deal. He knows his stuff and will happily answer your questions. If he doesn't handle what you need done he knows just who you need to see. A referral from Kevin to another business is solid. He has never steered us wrong. I advise making an appointment because Kevin is one very busy guy.

He always provides fast and honest service. I have never had to go back to him for something he hasn't done properly. I have never used such a great mechanic (although I haven't really gone to any other one since '99....if I did, I would feel like I was cheating on him). I remember with my Reliant I needed a new windshield wiper motor and he asked me if I really wanted to spend the $$$ on that since the car was so old......he said he could install one for around a hundred, but offered me another cheaper option.......a switch under my steering wheel for like $10. The only issue was that it would be one speed. Also I had major carburetor issues on my Reliant (it always needed to be adjusted), and I could just stop by whenever, and he'd adjust it at no charge (it just took a few minutes). Never tries to upsell you or get you to fix something that's not needed, EVER! Totally worth the $9 cab ride to and from my apartment in Englewood. Oh, did I mention that he's super nice?! He talks very fast and writes like a doctor, so don't even try to read what he writes on the receipts. Lol. I could go on and on how awesome this place is, but then I'd be writing a novel and not a review. All I have to say is just go there if you're in the area.
