The are group of artists dress up with Venice Carnival mask and stand still for photo. It is to promote the town festivities. The costumes are beautiful and colorful. They are several different group of dress up carnival dresses. Some like flower girl, other like crown, and some like establishments. The festival did add quite an interesting visit. The town itself already beautiful. It is like medieval town. Flower decoration on the balcony. Stone gate entry. Church bell ringing during full hour. Stone pavement for the visitors. The setting of this town is beautiful. It has chateau, seaport, gastronomic restaurants, local art stores and more. It is is good destination to visit. There are additional local vineyard nearby that you can combine with the visit.

Why not dine al fresco? For me it was a lovely late October day. The waiter sat me for lunch and treated me so well, was welcoming, and his hospitality and attention never wavered. I wanted for nothing! For me, the service aspect always is a large part of the dining experience and at the Carnivore, it was wonderful! I enjoyed a local pinot noir, a green salad, and chose one of the hunters options; the venison stew with red berries, green beans and potatoes. This and the brisk sunny day, the exceptional service, the old world charm made for a truly spectacular dining experience. The terrace was filled with families, business folks, and tourists. Everyone was happy.
