The first bad experience I had was when he dropped some really hot liquid on my lip and blistered the skin off. His response was oops. Everybody makes mistakes so no biggy for the first except It looked like I Had herpes for a few weeks. Next up was a drill to the gums. I've had countless fillings fall out and a crown that came off several times. Most of the time they charge you for the visit when he is just fixing bad workmanship . The last straw was when he put a Crown on a tooth that supposedly had a deep cavity. The tooth didn't hurt nor do I think it was necessary to crown it, but I have a suspicion he makes a lot more money for a crown than filling cavities. The tooth ached for weeks till the new one came and he suggested a root canal. So $1200 dollars gone and weeks of pain that didn't exist previously he now wants to send me to a specialist to fix his mistakes.

They got me in on a Monday morning and I had the tooth extracted. Other dental offices i called didn't want to have anything to do with me on an emergency basis or they weren't taking new patients. Even though the pain med. did not work on this client, he told him he was going to use it again and he had no recollection he used on the last previous visit. It was not written down! Dental work is bad enough, but don't count on him to be reasonable, or compassionate. He even had the guts to charge his insurance company the $45.00 copay, even though he didn't work on him at all that day!

There's always an age appropriate movie on. The front desk workers are kind and courteous. Dr. S has been amazing. We've been taking all three kids here for many years. They're consistent. This team is truly amazing with kids. They explain everything meticulously. They even break down what insurance will pay on UPCOMING visits. Kids in the chair are able to choose flavors of fluoride, wear sunglasses during the visit to protect their eyes... even choose MOVIES to watch while undergoing more stressful procedures.
