Fantastic dentist! Dr. Doug Forbes definitely goes the extra mile. He absolutely saved my smile…read more I've been going to the cheap chain dentists for years and wow they did a terrible job. Dr. Doug was referred to me by a longtime patient for a crown and he noticed some things that the chain dentists did not. I was about to lose a tooth because of a bad filing from years ago. I've been to Aspen dental twice since that filing and they never noticed that I had a bunch of decay. Long story short he did a very thorough and wonderful job. His office was spotless, staff was amazing too. I highly recommend this place for all your dental needs.

I was told that I would be charged a 50 dollar fee. I decided to stay up after working a twelve hour shift so that I could make the appointment. Upon arrival I was met with a condescending and down right rude attitude from Amy. There was a discrepancy with my insurance, therefore I had my company insurance rep call and he was met with the same level of attitude. After a few minutes of being subjected to her attitude, I decided to cancel my appointment and look for a dentist elsewhere. Based off of her actions alone I will not recommend this office.

The first visit- Dr Wych's team spent over an hour with me talking and taking x-rays. Moving slow. Reassuring. Calming. We talked about EXACTLY what needed to be done and how they would do it. The next visit- absolute perfection. I went in and came out 4 hours later - Problems fixed. No pain. And a greatly reduced fear of the Chair! Highly HIGHLY recommend Dr Wych and his AMAZING staff for all of us that have that fear!!

They proceeded to let me know that they needed to do a cleaning around that one particular tooth, OK cost me $600 to have that one tooth cleaned. The pain continued on and got worse after the cleaning and was told to take ibuprofen and Tylenol together to help ease the pain. The pain got worse and two months later I went to a periodontist. They too took x-rays and discovered I had significant bone loss And an infection around that tooth. This tooth now needs to be pulled because it's beyond repair and replaced with an implant. The periodontist told me that the infection looked like it had been there a lot longer than two months and has now moved up into my sinus cavity. Save yourself a lot of pain and money and definitely DO NOT use The Art of Dentistry for any of your dental needs.

There are so many options out there wth dentists who are a lot more caring than them.I have seen others commented in the past about similar issues, but oddly, any reviews that are not a 5 star review, may disappear shortly after. I won't be surprised if my review will be removed as well. Very sketchy. It has been a few years since I was treated but I waited until now to write this because firstly, I owe them this honest review and secondly, I was scared during that time that if I wrote this, they would discontinue my treatment or God only knows, what could have happened. In addition to several other things, I also had an implant placed & it wasn't something that you could just let other dentists continue. I spent over 13K at Dr. B. Springer's office. To be fair, his dental work was acceptable but everything else, not so much. My family and I were referred to him by our neighbour and initially, everything was great until one day, I kindly requested to have all my restorations on the upper quadrants to be completed on the same day. I made the appointment for the day before Chinese New Year because it is a Chinese superstition that in order to avoid the possibility of physical harm (accidents, illnesses etc), people should get any type of treatment that involved "blood" before Chinese New Year. I made the appointment with the receptionist, explained my situation, and she assured me that she alloted enough time for the whole treatment to be done that day. When I was in the chair, that was when the doctor told me he only had enough time to do one. When I explained to them how important it was for me to get the uppers done, he & his assistant just laughed at my face & even made a rude comment about Chinese New Year. When the receptionist came back to talk to us about the schedule, she denied everything and was adamant that she scheduled correctly. From that day onward, my nightmare with them began and each time I come in, she would 100% ignore me, even when I greeted her. After my treatments were done and money taken, they then mailed me a letter stating they would no longer see me. Even if I had concerns or problems with something he did, they said I would need to see someone else. Unethical & unprofessional. Be careful of your treatment plans and your bill after because often, you will be billed higher than quoted. I understand, being in the dental industry myself, treatments may change as there is always a chance they may find other concerns during treatment. But to that extreme? Highly unlikely. When they saw my sister in law, they offered to do all quadrants during the same visit and she had a lot to be done. When she said she wasn't comfortable with having her whole mouth treated in one sitting, they ended up referring her to another dentist. Who really wants their whole mouth to be numb at the same time? I have learned with them, it is either their way or the highway. They are not great in accepting responsibilities nor listening to our opinions. One instance after our misunderstanding, because I opinionated on something, Dr. Springer grabbed my crown, and said I can just take it somewhere else, who does that? This was in the middle of my procedure! Of course, I just chose to keep my mouth shut especially since we were literally midway of the treatment. I do NOT recommend this place at all and if you decide to see them, depending on your wealth and ethnicity, GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
