I was referred to Dr. Hirsch from another doctor while visiting from out of town. I wanted to get 5 amalgam fillings removed and replaced with non-amalgam fillings. From my first interactions with the office staff both on the phone and in-person, to the actual procedure with Dr. Hirsch and his assistant, to the receptionist check-out, this team was amazing! I started seeing Dr Hirsch when I moved to Malibu, quite some years ago. I had some old amalgam fillings that were crumbling and needed replacing. I have been a patient of Dr Hirsch for the last 6 months and I have to say his practice is the best I have ever experienced. So, today I was around in the area of Dr Hirsch and just dropped by to schedule an appointment for what I had hoped to be early next week at the frontdesk. to my surprise he spontaneously invited me to do a quick check right away since I had some strange taste in my mouth for a while. I had an amalgam filling replaced by Dr. Hirsch yesterday, something he's been wanting me to do for years, but I am not the best when it comes to dental procedures. I finally gave in, scheduled the appt, and true to form arrived a nervous wreck. This was for one small filling! When a filling fell out on a Sunday morning, he met with me at his office and scheduled an appointment for a crown and root canal (with another doctor) for the next day.
