History

Established in 2007.

A native of North Carolina, Bobbie has always had a passion for art. In 1999 she welcomed pottery back in her life, a dream she never imagined came true. She and her husband Scott, built a new home and studio in Seagrove, NC "The Pottery Capital of the US" and Thomas Pottery became a reality in 2007. Today Bobbie runs their pottery shop full-time as Scott continues to work for local government. Bobbie and husband, Scott, combine their talents to create a variety of unique pottery pieces for everyday use and home decor’ .

Meet the Business Owner: Bobbie T.

Bobbie enjoys turning smaller items, but her passion is hand-building signature pieces. By rolling out flat portions of clay, she creates a variety of trays and platters embellishing her work by hand-painting, adding sculpted flowers, or using clay stamps to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Her work has been featured in magazines and was most recently at Terra Vita Food & Drink Festival, a premier culinary event in the Southeastern U.S. Thomas’ newest designs include sculpted woodland creatures of rabbits, bears and turtles just to mention a few. Her serving trays and platters make an excellent impression on a dining table or throughout your home and patio, but visitors especially love her whimsical serving pieces. “ Stop in to see my newest creativity.”
