So, I showed up a day after contacting him, and he took headshots for me in his home studio during a relatively early appointment. That appointment came with strong black tea, raw honey, and some great cheese. On my way out the door, he even sent me with more hot tea to go. How kind! As for his work, it speaks for itself. If you pick him, make sure to loosen up and roll with it. You'll be a better subject and have better photos. And did I get my photos quickly? Absolutely. Some photographers and slow and only give you one or two headshots for comparable costs. I got dozens!

Not only did her photos come out great, but I know that is all thanks to the extra TLC she gave to all of the elements at the shoot: lighting, background colors, angles, wardrobe, props, and her color adjustments to the photos were spot on! My wife and I first heard about Aram when we saw that he was credited with doing the cinematography…read morefor a short film called "Absent" which we really enjoyed. Some of the shots he did were really memorable. A few months later our daughter was cast in a web series called "My Power of One" that Aram was working on and we were excited that we were going to be involved in a project with him ourselves. Aram didn't disappoint. The work he did has come out wonderful and it's a pleasure to watch him work. He is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of film and he contributes so much to every layer of the production with his experience. I'm an amateur photographer so most of the stuff he talks about is above my level of experience but it's impressive to watch him work and how everybody listens to his advice. We decided to hire him to do some head shots for our daughter. Aram agreed to meet at our house, which was really convenient, so we agreed to do an hour shoot and we agreed on a very fair price. Aram showed up on time, actually a little bit early, and was ready to dive right in. He brought all of the equipment, which honestly wasn't as much as I expected, and he experimented with different angles and locations in our living room until we settled into a place where the lighting was just perfect. He was really casual and made our daughter feel very comfortable. She was able to relax and feel good about her smile and poses. Aram suggested we do numerous wardrobe changes which made it easier to do different types of pictures/poses - athletic, casual, sweet, serious, wearing a baseball cap and even wearing a cowboy hat for a country style shot which was really fun. He had agreed to come over for an hour and spent almost 2 hours working with us. He even refused to accept additional money for his time. The most important thing though was the quality (and quantity) of the pictures. The pictures came out amazing and I can't say enough about how happy we are with his professionalism, knowledge, and the finished product. I would highly recommend him to anybody and will definitely hire him the next time we need pictures. Thank you Aram!
