I have to say HENRY BROTHERS, specifically JASON was very professional, knowledgeable, punctual and immediately started to educate me on how to file an ins. claim and the process involved. Since I've never filed a claim this saved me hrs. in time on what questions I had or the steps I needed to take. It must be noted that, Jason arrived within 20 minutes of my call on a very busy morning after Cookeville experienced extreme winds and rain (I'm sure most roofing contractors are swamped right now after last night). Henry Brothers was my first call and I am extremely happy with the responsiveness of the crew to temporarily cover my open roof where the ridge cap and shingles basically blew off and tons of water entered my home last night. My whole roof will need to be replaced as its lifted in many places. Again, extremely happy with the quick response and look forward to a competitive quote that our ins. adjuster will accept.

Told him I was renting the house and only wanted new weatherstripping around the door & some WD40 sprayed. He looks at door & tells me this is wrong, that is wrong. I knew this already. He told me he could make some repairs, okay agree. I THOUGHT HE WAS JUST GOING TO DO SOME SMALL REPAIR ON THE DOOR & PUT NEW WEATHERSTRIPPIN. He did all the pictur hnanging, et., the first day. Despite being gone an hour to get his son from school, which I did not mind. What I did mind was after coming back, taking so much time & then charging me what I thought was too much for not doing very much. And does'nt leave til 7pm. Then he comes the following day to work on this door. I step away from the area to let him do his work, trying to be respectful. I finally had to go look because there was so much noise. He had the door completely off the frame! I should have stopped him right then & said I thought you were just going to do some "MINOR REPAIR"? But I stupidly did not. Works for about 2 hours, then has to leave to get his son again. This time gone for almost 2 hours! Ridiculous! Then when he finishes (after or right around 7pm again) he gives me a paper for the complete charges. He charges me over $100 for "materials" to repair the door. I stewed about it over the whole weekend. Plus the charges to repair the door. I felt it was all just too much. I contacted him , (he had to come & get some things left there anyway, paint). When he came to get the paint, I said I want to discuss these charge. Told him I thought he needed to pay me back at least $200. He said that's not going to happen & which door did he want me to use to leave from? I originally met this person from Angie's List so I contacted them. FINALLY was able to make a complaint through them. BOTTOM LINE - this person does way too much talking . Talk to me entire time as if I knew about home repairs. Maybe why such signals crossed about the door when he made me think it was just going to be small repair. And I end up paying over $700 in repairs. REALLY FELT RIPPED OFF BY HIM AND DID'NT APPRECIATE THAT. WANTED TO TALK ME INTO THIS DOOR "REPAIR" JUST BECAUSE HE WAS IN BETWEEN WORKING ON SOME ENDLESS BUILDING JOB HE HAS GOING ON (said he talked a lot) AND FOUND A WAY TO MAKE A LITTLE EXTRA INCOME THROUGH THIS DOOR WORK.

I hired…read moreSuperior Inspection Group to be my eyes and give me assurance that I was doing the right thing. They went out and found several items that the homeowner had to repair before the close of escrow for which I paid $400.00. Then after all was to have been repaired or replaced I paid an additional $200.00 for Superior to revisit the home to make sure all was done. They missed items on their follow-up and also when we got to the home I found additional problems Superior should have caught in the initial inspection. In the first inspection they found that the hvac filters were extremely dirty so I had the replacement of filters as a condition. Were not replaced. The inspector missed in the same room which the heater was located the water heater had pvc pipe at the connection that had a small drip. This connection should have been with pex tubing. Following the pvc pipe to the floor we saw it again had a small drip and at this point we saw that the dryer vent hose had a large hole in it and all the exhaust and lint was coming into the room. We put in a new vent hose. Having a plumber repair and install pex tubing costed me $390.00. Another item that was on their first inspection was the guest bathtub faucet was dripping. I put in my stipulations before closing that the faucet be fixed or replaced. On Superior's final inspection they reported it was no longer dripping. Surprise! They didn't turn on the faucet to see if it would leak when shut off because they would have found that the faucet was tightened so hard that the pivot ball inside couldn't move even an adult would have trouble turning it on and off. I had a plumber come out to replace the faucet and I paid $450.00 for that. So much for having an inspection done. Staff was nice though.
