It was around 5:00 PM but they answered the phone. I explained where I was And what happened. He checked to see if he had the correct tire in stock and he did. Said I needed someone to come take the tire off, return to the tire shop, put the new tire on my rim, and then return to get it back on the 5th wheel. Manager said that would be $30 extra--very reasonable. He asked how I would pay. I answered check, cc, or cash. About this time a huge tstorm started raining buckets of rain but a few minutes later the tech pulled up next to me. I told the tech I wasn't in that big of a hurry if he wanted to wait until the storm let up some. He said not to worry, he'd get it. Within 30 minutes, he was back with the new tire and had it on and requested a check for payment. Yes they took an out of state check without even looking at my ID. I gave the guy an extra $20 and was on my way in less than an hour from when I first arrived. Keep in mind it was raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock the entire time.
