It seemed much more intentional and he presented my options well. The office itself is smaller and I don't think has changed much over the years :) that is my preference though. Didn't experience any issues w billing, treatment, or scheduling.

Was referred to them by my PCP for a…read morepossible corn/callus on my foot and I will be messaging my PCP to tell them not to refer anyone there for Doctor Galbraith. Doctor Galbraith, PA and Med Student Doctor came in and he was not very personable. Took a look at my foot and asked a couple questions and then pulled out a scalpel and just started scaping my foot and the area of pain. There was no warning or heads up or letting me know what he was doing. He then decided to dig into my foot, again no warning or anything. He digs in too deep and I flinch in the chair and look down and my foot which is now bleeding. He goes oops got a little too deep there. He doesn't ask if I am okay, but the Med Student checks on me and looks at me as tears are coming down my face because I was in pain. She offers me a water and some tissues. Doctor tells PA to put ointment and gauze over the wound now. Doctor put on some kind of pad on my foot and says put your socks and shoes on and I'll be back. He comes back and simply just asks how does it feel, and then says if you have any other problems just come back. I simply will not be back, would have been a very different appointment had he informed me of what he was doing and had a better bed side manner and because it was my first time being there.

I waited 11 days for an…read moreappointment, got up, got dressed, drove to the other side of town, got checked in, I'm in the exam room filling out paperwork and some woman walks in and says they won't see me because I'm on BHRT including testosterone. No apology, no nothing for wasting my time. They could have told me this over the phone and I could have spent those 11 days trying to find another doctor to diagnose a potentially serious medical condition. I did not need them to prescribe the testosterone, didn't matter, get out, we don't want you here is basically what it felt like.

Scheduled an appointment a year in advance, checked in 10 minutes early. 7 people checked in after…read moreme and 4 of the 7 were called back before me. I sat for 35 minutes before asking the front desk receptionist when I'd be next. I had my toddlers and husband (who took off work) sitting in the car waiting on me. She asked my name and who I was there to see, and when I answered she made a face like "uh oh" as if she'd forgotten to put me down or something. Another woman in the waiting room approached the desk with a similar concern before me and said she had been waiting a while and it sounded like the SAME receptionist had forgotten to check her in/put her folder where it needed to go for the nurses to call her back. After she confirmed who I was, she said "you're next so I'm not sure why you've had to wait." And I told her multiple people that came in after me had been called back already. She said 2 doctors had to go for deliveries, and that the person I was there to see was the one who was taking over for one of them. Okay, understandable. So I asked how long til I would actually be seen. She said she didn't know but would ask and then asked if I wanted to reschedule.. what?! I scheduled my appt a year in advance and had been waiting for 40 minutes at this point, why would I reschedule if you said I was next? Well, I WASNT next. And she never found out how long it would be. She avoided eye contact with me the entire rest of the time I sat in the waiting room and 7 people were called back in the next 25 minutes, and not one of them was me. So I called the west side location, told them the situation and they got me scheduled for an appt with my ACTUAL doctor in the next few weeks. In the 5 minute phone call, 5 additional people were called back, not a single one was me. All in all, I will NEVER return to this location. I waited 65 minutes, was never seen, and 12, TWELVE people were called before me even though I was "next". Do NOT go here!

My HEADACHES are GONE!!!!…read more I am telling you, I suffered from severe migraine headaches for over 20 years. They started when I was 12 years old. They were so bad that I had Excedrin hidden in my car, my purse, the nightstand, a drawer in the living room, the kitchen counter... like a drug addict. there were many times that I had to take the medication and then lay down in a quiet and dark room for a couple of hours to get the headache to ebb. So, when I say the headaches are gone, what I really mean is; THANK YOU FOR MY MIRACLE Dr. Wheeler!!! You are so AWESOME!!!!

I go their regularly to keep it in check. The only drawback is that he moved across town which makes it more challenging to get to his office during his practice hours. Do not trust this urgent care facility. I had a piece of glass stuck in my foot and couldn't walk…read morecorrectly so I went to have it removed. The front desk staff were very hostile and angry, so it was hard to work with them. I described the problem, that there was a shard of glass stuck in my foot, and I was seen promptly at least. The doctor was kind and gentle and got the piece out of me. I was quite pleased overall. Well next thing I know my insurance says they will not cover the cost of this visit because West Wichita Minor Care Clinic coded the removal of the glass as "cosmetic" and "elective". How is me not being able to walk and removal of a foreign body considered cosmetic???? I think they are discriminatory and just don't like people that look like me so they do illegal stuff like code incorrectly to insurance and lie to punish customers they don't like. Never going here again and plan to take my issue to the proper regulatory board for this abhorrent behavior from a place you should be able to trust.
