My daughter went to Gold Coast Dental, 951 W. Whittier Blvd., in September 2024 for a wisdom tooth…read moreextraction consultation. After the evaluation, she scheduled the surgery and paid the full amount upfront--about $3,500. Shortly afterward, she decided to cancel the procedure and requested a refund. Getting that refund turned into a nightmare. For over a year and a half, we repeatedly called and followed up, only to get delays, excuses, and endless runaround. The office seemed to have no urgency whatsoever in returning money for a procedure that was never performed. The most frustrating part was dealing with the financial coordinator. When I tried to help resolve the issue, I got a runaround for a couple months. Even more confusing, after speaking with me about the financial matter for weeks, the office suddenly claimed my daughter needed to sign HIPAA paperwork before they could continue discussing it with me. What finally got results? A formal demand letter. Amazingly, the refund check was issued the day after the demand letter was emailed and just two days after a hard copy was delivered. No one should have to spend over a year and a half fighting to get their own money back for services that were never provided. Based on our experience, I would not trust this office with my family's dental care.

BEWARE!!! UNPROFESSIONAL! SCAM!…read more For the past month or so I learned that Dr Jeng and Dr Lee are no longer in practice, it is now a group called Mazloomi La Habra DDS PC that has taken over. My family and I went to Dr Jeng for decades and never had any problems. My mother went last month and told me that they made outrageous diagnoses and tried to get her to purchase a $6000 treatment with little to no explanation. This was odd, considering we had just seen Dr. Jeng back in March of this year with no issues. Today the female dentist Dr Eleanor Allen did the same thing to me! I went from being just fine to being told I have a mouthful of cavities and accused me of not brushing or flossing my teeth, having a poor diet, and drinking lots of soda. (I am furious because I am a registered dietitian and have excellent hygiene). She then tried to pressure sell me into doing an unnecessary treatment that cost several hundred dollars. The worst part was her bedside manner. Doctor Allen said I needed to replace some fillings. I told her in my 30 years of life I have never had fillings before. Rather than believe me, she argued that I must be mistaken and wasn't old enough to remember. I was then pressured to make a seperate appointment for that. I know my medical history and do not appreciate some complete stranger explaining to me my own health history. I will never come back and do not trust my dental health in her hands. No one should.

I highly recommend Dr. Kenneth and his team…read more A few months ago, I went to the ER because I was experiencing severe jaw pain and headaches. After seeing numerous dentists in Los Angeles and Irvine over the years, no one had ever identified the root cause of my symptoms. Dr. Kenneth was the first dentist who correctly diagnosed my TMJ and provided treatment that finally brought me relief. His knowledge, experience, and attention to detail truly set him apart. My parents are also patients of Dr. Kenneth. My mother has dementia, which can make dental treatment and following instructions challenging at times. She is picking up her new dentures today, and throughout the entire process, Dr. Kenneth has been incredibly patient, compassionate, and understanding. He took the time to work with her at her own pace, explained things carefully, and always treated her with kindness and respect. It is rare to find a dentist who combines extensive experience, clinical expertise, and genuine compassion for his patients. Our family is very grateful for the exceptional care he has provided. I would highly recommend Dr. Kenneth to anyone looking for a skilled, experienced, and caring dentist.
