They started yelling about how long it took to get here fighting traffic even though they arrived within a half hour of our original call. Very disappointing that we were charged $555 for 15 minutes work. I do not recommend this company. I decided to go with TLC, a small, local company rather than a large business. I spoke to Patty at TLC last April and was quoted a price for what I thought (since I asked for annual contract pricing) was for 2 visits and a lower price should I need any additional service. The a/c check went fine and I paid $325 thinking it was for an annual contract. Yesterday was my furnace check. I called at 10am and was told a service person would be here by 12:30-1:00. Well...it was after 2:00. No big deal. Sean cleaned the filter & checked my gas fireplace (2 years old). It took about 1/2 hour. He then asked me for $325. I couldn't speak. From my spring phone call with TLC, I thought I had an "annual" contract that included the spring & fall visits for a total of $325 - not $650!!! Totally outrageous. $325 for 1/2 hour?!? I could have done this work myself. Live & learn. Oh - when I looked at the contract emailed to me in the spring, it had expired, so I couldn't even review the original paperwork. Make sure you get the contract mailed to you. Don't let TLC rip you off. And Sean (service guy) even solicited side jobs for himself, saying he moves outdoor furniture for TLC customers and helps with small jobs. No thanks! I work hard and am so upset with having to pay so much for such a small job. It's crazy.

However, since I was planning to have the original contractor cover the cost, I decided to hire a plumber. I called several local plumbing companies, and Barron initially stood out because the woman who answered was very eager to help. She offered a same-day appointment, which I couldn't take, but she quickly arranged someone to come the next day. She assured me the estimate would be free and that if I agreed to the price, they would do the job right then and there. That's where things started to go wrong. The technician arrived, looked at the situation, and said it would be simple. He then went to his truck, entered the job into their pricing system (ServiceTitan), and returned with a quote of nearly $1,000. For a minor realignment job that required redrilling a few holes and reseating the flange adapter, this price was outrageous. When I pushed back, explaining the work should be a quarter of that cost, he offered a "discount" if I signed up for an annual maintenance subscription. This lowered the bill by $141, but the subscription cost $88, so I saved only around $50. I agreed, reluctantly, just to save something. Then came the actual work. What should have been under an hour turned into over three hours. The tech didn't make a template when drilling the securing studs, so every time he reinstalled the toilet, it leaked during the test flush. After about an hour of this, he had already worn out his tile bit and had to leave to buy a new one. At one point, I heard him calling dispatch for help, but no one was available. He just kept trying, making more holes and failing to align the toilet properly. Eventually, he got it installed, but now I'm left with a floor full of unnecessary drill holes hidden under the toilet. It looks like I'm stuck with this placement unless I want to redo the flooring. To make matters worse, I'm still waiting on confirmation that the subscription has been canceled. I will never use Barron again and will warn others to steer clear. Their flashy vans and branding might look professional, but the service and pricing were anything but. Look for a skilled, independent local plumber instead.

Plumber thought it was the float. Andrew from HJ came out right away dug up the area and did testing and turns out it was really the electrical outlet issue not the float. He did all that work and it was not even their issue and still did not charge me. He was so personable and took the time to educate me on septic tanks because I only moved in a couple of months ago and this is the first septic tank I had. Thanks again Andrew! 5 stars!

The problem is they damaged my driveway and now refuse to pay for the repair. Long story: Months ago I damaged the edge of my 200ft driveway closest to the septic tank by driving off the back edge causing a crack approximately 18" long with my full size pickup. When we scheduled our latest septic service we asked that the driver bring pads or mats fearing the truck may have to drive off the same area to get close to our tank. The scheduler said they would make a note and notify the driver. When the driver arrived he backed down our driveway and as he adjusted the truck in the position he wanted the front wheels went over the edge in 4 spots causing major cracks to the side of the driveway more than 50ft from the area I was concerned about, due to the weight. After the service, and once the truck was moved I noticed the damage and notified the driver, "Abe" who stated he was "the one who always breaks stuff". He acknowledge the damage, took photos and wrote it on the invoice at my request. He forwarded the photos to the office. Now after several emails and phone calls, Abe is saying he merely drove over an already damaged area. This is completely false and they continue to argue about having to pay for the repair. Beware.
