Haircuts Etc offers the quintuple advantages of being inexpensive, fast, accessible from a main traffic artery, with parking plentiful. And, oh BTW, the cuts aren't bad either! Faryal came recommended by a trusted neighbor. I was in and out in 25 minutes (and that was with someone already ahead of me in the chair.) She was professional and friendly and I got a darn good cut. My mop requires the skill of a neurosurgeon to cut well. I moved to Georgia 6 years ago and this is the first salon I have found that really cares about my natural hair. Although I wear extensions it's important to take care of my natural hair as well. I currently have microlinks, which the salon does not offer however I am never denied a great wash and blowout. This salon is clean, professional and super convenient with same day availability. **Message to the everyday male professional!** If you are strapped for time, these stylists can have you in and out in 15-20 minutes for under $15 (including tip)! I have been getting my haircut here for over 2 years. On average, I am in and out on my break, for no more than 20 minutes. My hair does not require much detail, but I get a clean one to my liking every time. Faryalle (~sp) and Sara are great! They are friendly, ask for your preferenecs, and go to work. I recommend these gals if you are in a hurry, which I know most of us are or can be. They just recently did some renovating and I need to stress that this is not a glamorous salon, but I say this because if you need that, you won't get that here. They offer plenty of other services, but more geared to the females. Hopefully you will give them a try!! read more

Worst haircut I have had in 5 years! Maybe it was just the lady that was cutting my hair today, but it ranges from 1/2" to 1" of an inch on the top which is supposed to have some semblance of evenness. She did a terrible job around the ears. When she initially cut it, she just cut around the sides and left the top, I asked her kindly to take a little of the top and she took a couple quick hacks and told me she was sure it was short enough. Maybe she didnt realize that "a little off the top" means a little bit of hair cut off of the entire top and not just in the places she randomly decides to stick her scissors. I have given better haircuts after 5 beers than this lady did sober. My hair was butchered on 8/20/12 read more

I am relatively new to the area and had been struggling to find a salon that I loved to straighten my natural hair. I was so excited to find Fatima at Haircuts, etc and she has been more than excellent. She has worked with me with appointment timing and most importantly, she cares about my hair! Many people worry about heat damage, but my hair is in better condition than ever and consistently growing. The salon is very nice -- very clean, a variety of products and tools. They do everything in here -- all types of textures, styles, men and women. Also, Fatima doesn't double-book. I have never had to wait for her to get started and she is efficient. I'm in and out within 90 minutes. The Salon is in a great location ( a kroger shopping center) so there is always ample parking AND they are open on Mondays! Owner posted 5 stars on own google review two days ago. Last hair treatment wasn't properly completed and I was overcharged compared to the previous treatment. On top of that they took an extra $50 off my card and claimed the credit card machine is old. Beware the new owner charges whatever she thinks is appropriate and there was no public price listing when I was there. read more

First time I have gone to Ani. She cut just a little short, but she was great. You must accept that this is a new relationship and allow for differences. Ani gave me a great cut. It will be better next time. She shaved my husband's head and trimmed his beard and mustache. Ani trimmed a little too much off the beard. Again, it was a first time so allowances must be given. I asked for a trim, she cut close to 8 inches of my hair. I knew my hair was bad and dry but I wanted to cut only the minimal. Now I will have to wait close to 2 years to get my hair back. My hair is curly I haven't see it wet since my blowout but I'm sure I will look like a boy after that. Horrible terrible mistake trusting them with my hair second time around. read more
