A Hidden Gem in Gibbon!…read more I was passing through Gibbon and this little coffee shop came highly recommended--and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I ordered a couple of drinks and they were absolutely phenomenal--perfectly crafted, with diverse flavors, and made with love. I will have dreams about my mangoñeada (pro tip: get with energy in it). But what truly sets this place apart is the people. Dru, the owner, is one of the kindest, most genuine people you'll ever meet, and her team reflects that same energy. Friendly, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. It's the kind of place where you leave feeling better than when you drove up (and definitely more caffeinated ;)). Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop here. Customer service is top notch, as everyone who works there is smiling and ready to help customers find what they need. They go out of their way to help when asked. Carry out service is also available when requested and often even when you don't ask! It's a great little store in our community.

This particular business is new for Veronica but she worked closely for 30 plus years with owner of another long-time restaurant and business watering hole, since closed. All is just great here and a lot going for Veronica. And I/we today...are back the following day for Octopus Ceviche that will be, pretty sure, my and our very first octopus food experience. Special inquired/request with Veronica yesterday. Was in her freezer department of store and caught my eye. Have seen it prepared on several tv food shows and looked interesting. And our Octopus Ceviche...we both agreed was really really good. Veronica brought it out with fresh lime halves, dried corn tortillas, and a salsa. I liked it best as a straight spoonful with nothing added as a side. This was a fun experience with Veronicas' help. I plan to buy more octopus and prepare different ways at home. Probly bake and broil.
