Afton photographed the most beautiful, life changing, empowering experience of my life - the home birth of my second son. She came to my house when I called her to let her know I had gone into labor. It was a 17 hour labor, so there was a lot of down time for my birth team. She stayed with me and worked from my home while capturing the integral moments during my labor. She was very careful to stick in the background and out of the way when things got intense, and caught the most incredible memories of my birth. We also did a maternity photo shoot for me which also included photos of me nursing my 3 year old who was at the tail end of our nursing relationship. I'm so glad to have these photos. A few days after my baby was born, Afton came back to do a newborn shoot which turned out to be really adorable. She has an incredible eye and is a fantastic artist both with her photography and other visual art. Not only is she talented, but she really cares and is extremely professional. I highly recommend her services! read more

Afton was great to work with. She was punctual, efficient with her time, amiable, and professional. She comes to the photo session with a specific vision of the photos she wants to take ahead of time, and is open to ideas from her clients. I found the photo session to be a fun, collaborative experience. The turnaround time to receive the photos was much quicker than I expected. The whole experience of working with Afton was enjoyable. And most of all, I love the photos that she took! I will continue to recommend her to friends and family. read more

There's no second chance at your first child, so with that being said, my maternity shoot was very important to me and my family. I've known Afton since high school and have always admired her creativity and craftiness, but it was as adults and 11 years later that her eye for beautiful photographs brought us together again. I saw a few photographs she had taken at a mutual friend's wedding and knew she would be great for my maternity/family shoot. My family and I were pleased with her talent, flexibility and knowledge. I would recommend TBP to all of my family and friends without a doubt! read more

Afton doesn't merely point and shoot. She is a true artist and has a way of recognizing an angle, color, expression, lighting, or many other variables that elevate her photos. As a business owner who showed her work for two months I have seen firsthand how her work moves people. read more

Afton is very professional at what she does! Communication is key with me and she will definitely bring that! Sometimes I felt like I was asking for too much...but she really took the time to meet every need and then some! And trust me...out of all the search, her price was the BEST!! I mean...she found the awesome locations, worked around our schedule, had lots of fun, & I can tell that she only wants her best work out there...so she really takes her time with each shot. Also, like I mentioned before, if she doesn't know of an area to shoot that meets your needs off the top of her head... She'll take the time to find the perfect spot for you! The locations I told her about, were actually the locations she sent me and I went by to check them out. My wife and I were sold lol. Thanks again Afton!! The family photos are great! I'll be calling you again for the next shoot oh...and I highly recommend her! read more
