There is so much to see and in addition to the metal sculptures, Clyde's wife Nancy has a studio/shop that sells and displays her jewelry, necklaces, glass beads and more. One of Clyde's creatures a Frog that plays golf followed me home. Since we live on a golf course, he can be spotted trying to hit an errant ball out of one of my wife's garden beds. A grand place to visit! In two days, I made a trip to the Forevertron and Jurustic Park. What a…read moreweekend! Jurustic Park is just north of Marshfield, even though it's actually in Marathon County. The collection is located on private property so if you visit, be respectful of the neighborhood and observe the hours. You won't believe you're on the right road because there are no signs, except a small one that makes sure you follow the correct fork in the road. All of a sudden, there you are! Jurustic Park is a collection of artwork by Clyde Wynia, a retired lawyer who took up welding to create his art. His wife, Nancy, is also an artisan, working with semi-precious stones and glass. The two have combined talent to build some unique artwork. Photos don't do those creations justice, you have to visit to see it. Clyde's medium of choice is metal, mostly ferrous under ferrous oxide (rust) but there is also iron and a variety of other metals. He claims these aren't dinosaurs, but creatures that lived in the marsh but are frozen in position by rust. A few move, one monster is named Art, which is short for Articulated and. . . Beware the Jabberwock! You enter the park, greeted by an ashtray held by an appropriate figure as a reminder of what smoking will ultimately do for you. Check out the snakes and cats, then walk under the giant spider. Some of the sculptures move if gently prodded, but don't push too hard. They fight back. Enjoy the wit and whimsy, and if you can, meet Clyde (he's obvious) and enjoy his running commentary of your tour. It's well worth the side trip from Marshfield.

I picked up four really cute casual shirts for around ten bucks. The store is arranged in a fairly straightforward manner, from children's to adult's clothes as you walk in. Over the racks along the walls are the houseware-type items. There's a small side room in the back for the bedding and curtains. The front of the store has things arranged by size and then color within the size. Not many of the places of this kind will do that type of arrangement, but it makes it a lot easier to find something if you need it in a specific color range.

Their last remaining anchor (following Younker's bankruptcy) is Kohl's, though there are still plenty of other chain and local businesses packed inside. If you're looking for apparel, knick-knacks, accessories, or a classic "mall" experience, this is a great place to get it!
