This is a hidden gem in what appears to be the middle of nowhere. The long drive on 171 between Lake Charles & DeRidder is so uneventful. This little store would normally be easy to miss, but because it's one of the few buildings you'll actually see on the way (& there's a sign), you can't help but look. I've been here maybe four times, & have had fudge shipped to me for Christmas by a friend from them. Their fudge is to DIE for. SO GOOD. & their glazed pecans are awesome as well. They have a website with pictures & product info. If you live too far to actually visit the store (as I do now), I'd recommend you get in touch with them & see if you can order something & get it shipped to you. They're that good. :) If I'm ever in the area again, you can bet this'll be one of the first places I visit! read more

This is a great place we went yesterday for the first time it is north of Hwy 190 heading toward DeRidder. This is a great on stop gift place for hard to buy for people like 90 year olds that have everything. You can choose a tin and have it filled with great assortments of pecans and candies. It isn't cheap but their quality is high. Beautiful raw pecans too. read more
