I'm not a big shopper, but I always enjoy a stop here. The place makes me smile, and that's a good thing in our current retail climate. I love that they dedicate a good deal of space to celebrate the local Gullah Geechee community highlighting the unique products created by nearby artisans. We exchanged a few concept photos and discussed a color palate and in a few days Ms. Anderson presented me with a concept sketch. It was spot on and she traveled from Beaufort SC to Kiawah to complete the project which took just a few days. The mural is stunning and everyone that visits comments on it. Ms. Anderson was a pleasure to work with and I feel so fortunate to have her amazing work in our home.

We found the selection and prices exceptional and plan to visit again when we come back through Beaufort. We found a beautiful brass lamp that has two brass egrets mounted on a cherry wood base. The price was exceptional but we had just arrived and did not want carry it around with us or back to the car. We decided to risk it and hope no one purchased it before we got back from the on-going airshow and festival. On our return we we thrilled to see that it was still there and brought it to the counter for purchase. The owner who check us out was really nice, when we related our story about the lamp and said they would have been happy to put it behind the counter for us as several of their customers had already done. They then told us how they decide they needed something more to do after retiring and decided to open Bay Street Treasures! We had a great experience and highly recommend this shop!
