When I explained that I was simply responding to a text message, she told me to be respectful and said that if I couldn't do that, I would have to leave. She then went even further and accused me of trying to put her shop out of business. This entire encounter caught me so off guard that I didn't even know how to respond. I ended up leaving after being in the store for less than 10 minutes. I was genuinely shocked by how I was treated, especially since I had done nothing but walk in, browse, and respond to a text message. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and disappointing experience.

Pricing was about what you'd find on Etsy - ($20+ for tops, $26-$40ish for dresses) maybe a little steep for a small town but still do-able. As a fellow vintage clothing seller, I really do enjoy supporting other sellers and was happy to do so here. I stumbled upon this shop after going to the old antique shop next door. There's no mention of Sideshow on Yelp or Google Maps so hopefully this review will help other vintage clothing lovers find this shop. The owner's mother was working when I visited and she was a very nice gal, even helping me get a zipper unstuck. Check it out if you're passing through Dolores!

Surprisingly the owner replied back super fast and said she'd meet me in 10 minutes! The owners were on their way out to grand junction to pick up goodies for their store and were happy to turn around to let us in. We shopped around really quickly and ended up only grabbing the ski boot bag. Here's the thing I think they do a beautiful job curating and shopping for her store products. They have a theme and quality that they look for and it's very clear. She shared that they often drive all around the state, four corners area, and Wyoming to estate sales to get these items. She was even able to tell me where she found the bag! That is why you pay a "higher" price for her store. Our bag was $45 and for something so unique I think it was fairly priced. Love love this store. I'll definitely be back each time when we are in Durango. What a sweet couple!
