I went in for physical therapy per my doctor's recommendation. I asked at the beginning for ATI to…read morecontact my insurance and let me know cost as if too much I will not be able to afford. They told me it would cost $35 per session after insurance. Once sessions complete I was charged approximately $100 after insurance per session!! I did 9 sessions with them without knowing that I would be charged $100 per session after insurance!! I have 2 insurance!! One primary and one secondary. To make it worse they even sent my info to collection without my knowledge. This is the worst outfit that I've ever dealt with. I am very upset about this!!!

ATI (off Murray in Beaverton)…read more I was referred by my doctor for physical therapy several months ago and chose ATI just of Murray with an address on Teal because I could walk there. My experience with physical therapy in the past hadn't been positive, but I've changed my mind now. ATI (just off Murray) is a great choice for exceptional care. I found the experience with physical therapists, Matt Dunn and Clarke Young, to be exceptional in that they seemed to really care for and connect with all their patients. Annette at the front desk is always cheerful, knowledgeable and able to accommodate changes in scheduling. Everyone's mood there is positive, supportive, and enthusiastic. There is much humor, personal attention, and most of all-encouragement to do our best. Thanks to their care and attention, I'm better able to manage my back problems with less pain and a better spirit. If you are in need of physical therapy, try ATI (off Murray in Beaverton). I think you'll be pleased.

I have the phone records to prove it, but apparently they claim I only notified them the day of. So they're charging me $50 for a missed appointment. Fine. If they have to charge me $50 to find a company is going to lie, then I'll leave a review letting everyone else know what to expect with them. Their physical therapists are fine, it's their customer service that is lacking.

When I was given a referral for a physical therapist I found a local office did a little research online and chose Bob Isler at Providence Rehabilitation services. I feel absolutely blessed to have found Bob in the sea of doctors, let alone physical therapists. He was kind, very informative and always made sure I understood what he was saying about my injuries, my limitations and my abilities. If anyone needs a PT I whole heartily recommend Bob Isler with Providence in Beaverton. The Providence Rehabilitation services office was very friendly, clean and easy to schedule apts. Deborah at the front desk was quick to help, with a friendly and positive attitude, to everyone that came into the office. If anyone has been living with a pain issue and has yet to see a physical therapist I would suggest looking into it. It has given me empowerment over my chronic pain issue and has allowed me to cut my pain meds. drastically more than I ever thought possible. I may never be able to be 100% pain free or be a jogger/runner but there is a major list of what I CAN do that I never thought possible. It was the education that Bob gave me while helping me realize the mechanical issues of what needed to be changed in order to let my days go by in much less pain.

Re-posting due to Yelp mistake merge (per their email)…read more My experience at ATI over 2 years ago was great, but that therapist is no longer there. Not only did the new therapist Rhiannon not help me, but she hurt me. I came in with pain & left with more pain than I could have imagined. I went in with Achilles tendon & knee pain. I never had knee pain before, but I have since I was knocked down by a large dog many months ago. She used a thick heavy metal object to SCRAPE my calves HARD. I later learned it was called IASTM/Graston Technique. It became so painful I begged her to STOP. She refused, instead telling me to breathe. I became nauseated from the pain. I again told her NO, this is too painful. She now told me to count the dots on the floor! My eyes were tearing up. Multiple times I told her it's too much & to please stop. No means no. I thought I would pass out from the pain. This went on for so long, my calves got bright red with red dots. "Oh that's OK" she said, "it means there is blood flow to the area." I was so concerned for my soft tissues. I am relatively petite. She's bigger; taller & more muscular. It felt like she was using her entire body weight to push the thick metal object into my legs. I read that the tool she used was invented by a chiropractor. There is a reason why I chose PT over chiro. I had this tool used on me once before on my feet, but it was for a short time & not nearly with so much pressure, unlike here. She knew I suffer from central nervous system dysfunction, my nerves are hyper-sensitive & I feel pain very strongly for a long time. I don't recuperate quickly. How does she know? 1. I told her on my first visit and 2. It's in my history from a great therapist I saw there before, but who no longer works there. It's ALL over her notes. She has access to my entire history there. It took me 2 years to calm down my nervous system via regular physical therapy, meditation and time. I suffered so much before & I was so scared it would take forever to get better again. After weeks of intense pain all over, it finally settled down. Now it comes up once in a while, but it is much more manageable. When the nervous system is activated, the pain is intense and everywhere; burning pain all over, pins & needles, not just on the calves. She aggressively went to town on my calves & I paid the price. We are decades past the no pain no gain thinking. After the fact I read about how this instrument hasn't really been proven to work, though apparently 5 monkeys gave it a thumbs up, there are no actual trials on people. Perhaps it works on some people for certain issues to some degree, when done appropriately. This was not the case here. Furthermore, I read that if it's used, it should be used for very specific types of injuries only, whereas she admitted she didn't have an exact diagnosis for me & claimed it didn't change the treatment. So she treats everyone the same it sounds like. I don't believe much in this instrument in general, but the real harm is in how it was applied. It also said to not use it at all on people with central nervous system pain and any other chronic pain patients (neuropathies, fibro, chronic regional pain syndrome etc). So a lot I feel was done wrong, not just 1 thing. Other therapists do manual work, which is much less likely to cause injury, they don't rely on objects. When she wasn't hurting me, she was watching me do exercises & stretches. I already diligently do my exercises at home & would have preferred at least some hands on work, but of course not to hurt me with a blunt instrument. After my appointment when I realized the pain was getting worse & worse that evening, I requested the receptionist to please return my unused visits to insurance, & she said she would. That's unfortunately what all insurances require in order to see another physical therapist. But weeks later I was still unable to see anyone new because insurance said the visits were not relinquished. My new pain was awful & my original pain still there. I called the receptionist again, then a 3rd time a couple weeks later & she referred me to their customer service dept. I spoke with Diasy who claimed she'd never heard of returning visits to insurance. Really? She promised her supervisor Angela would call me back, but weeks later, no call. I also called the local clinic director Jennifer Hartford. She also never called me & it had been weeks. It wasn't till I finally filed my 1st ever grievance with my insurance that anything happened. My insurance was confused saying all it took was the therapists office to fill out a short form or even just on a regular piece of paper simply state they were returning my visits. 6 weeks with my persistence it took to get it resolved & now one therapist I wanted to see who is gentle, experienced & skilled, is totally booked out super far, the other one is now on leave :( I'm leaving an extra star because they did get me in quickly, but I won't be back.
