It's unfortunate that they have a property management team and they manage multiple sites. But it seems like every site they manage has something in common. Not being taken care of in a timely manner. Things don't get resolved, they duck and weave when you need something , bills don't get paid (power, water, etc). They have zero pep in their step for anything. There have been continuous issues throughout the rental period! I would definitely think twice about hiring them for your property management needs. I don't know what these owners fees are but it must be cheap because they definitely don't value their customers or business owners that rent from them! read more

Full disclosure: Alline, one of Theory's agents, is also our daughter. Early this year (2020) we decided to look for a duplex. Alline found some great options for us and we ended up making offers on 5 different houses. Alline ran comps on all of those houses and guided us on our offers to the point where we won the bid on three of those, which already is a great outcome. We decided not to go with the first two houses after inspections came back and the sellers not being willing to compromise regarding repairs. We ended up buying the last one we bid on. The transaction turned out to be incredibly complicated due to the behavior of the seller and his agent. It started with the seller removing all appliances after reaching mutual agreement, pretending repairs were done after he agreed to do them in his inspection report response, and it included the seller's agent composing a fake competing offer to trigger our escalation clause to go to the maximum amount. Alline went above and beyond to dismantle all those things and led us to a timely closing. She communicated very timely and frequently with the seller's side and kept us in the loop at all times. She is well versed in VA loans and loves to help Veterans to get into their own homes. She is generous with her time and clear and concise with her communication. She has great follow-up with "the other side". She also answered all of our questions once the transaction moved to Escrow. I am lazy to post reviews, but I can't leave Theory Real Estate without a review because it is well deserved. After having a rocky start to 2020, missing my own University graduation, and getting Covid-19 TWICE, I have one positive outcome that OVERCOMES ALL THOSE SITUATIONS. My husband and I got our DREAM HOUSE! For a whole year Jamie Mc Donnell worked her butt off to help us through the land buying process, then through our stick built home buying process, and finally through the closing of our dream house. When she couldn't make a showing, Lauren Quackenbush was awesome and showed us the model home to our now dream house. This is big in my eyes because it shows that each agent knows the importance of teamwork and doesn't just care about making a quick buck. Jamie went through heck fighting for us and arguing with unfair sellers to get us in this house. And we appreciate her so much for this! My husband and I also had Covid-19 during the time of the inspection of the house so we unfortunately couldn't be there for the first inspection but Jamie found an awesome inspector named Greg who marked every nick and cranny in the house to make sure that we were not left in the dark. Jamie made this house buying process run smoother than what we thought it would be like. When the sellers of our home were delaying the closing multiple times, Jamie offered them help with acquiring materials and even offered them a few of her construction crews who she knows are hardworking and will not drag their feet.
