Austin and his team were incredibly knowledgeable and great to work with, they took care of us every step of the way!

We were thoroughly impressed working with Theory to purchase our first home! It seemed like an overwhelming process at first but we were expertly guided through everything so that we didn't have to worry. It took us a few years to fully be ready for our house and Austin was wonderful throughout, never pressuring us to move quicker. He was always one step ahead of addressing any issues and really took our preferences into consideration when searching for houses. We trust him completely and would love to work with him and the Theory team again in the future. read more

Theory was excellent! We had a hard transaction but our realtor found unique and creative ways to get our house sold. Kristi Miller and her team were wonderful and we will use them again! read more

The best around. Family Oriented, attention to detail and always puts People first making for an extraordinary experience.

Nickie Robbs was such a tremendous realtor. She helped us sell our house with confidence and poise. She was focused, hard working, and successful. We highly recommend working with her! You won't be disappointed! read more

It's unfortunate that they have a property management team and they manage multiple sites. But it seems like every site they manage has something in common. Not being taken care of in a timely manner. Things don't get resolved, they duck and weave when you need something , bills don't get paid (power, water, etc). They have zero pep in their step for anything. There have been continuous issues throughout the rental period! I would definitely think twice about hiring them for your property management needs. I don't know what these owners fees are but it must be cheap because they definitely don't value their customers or business owners that rent from them! read more

Where should I begin! The Theory Team was fabulous! I started looking for a house in April 2021 with the help of Austin Miller and Robin Nichols. We probably looked at 30+ houses over the course of 3 months. We put down 7 offers all across North & South Everett, Silver Lake, and Mill Creek. After many months navigating my limited budget, I finally got my offer accepted and closed the following month! As we all know, the market has been tough the last few years, but we persevered. The Theory Team was incredibly transparent and supportive, breaking down the whole process from beginning to end. I really appreciated this as a first time home buyer. The closing process was smooth - they handled everything between the lender, inspectors, appraiser, and escrow company so professionally. To top it off I got a wonderful closing gift basket and unexpected present So happy and glad I used Theory and highly recommend them! Thanks Team! read more

For first-time buyers, having Geomara who can simplify and clarify the process is invaluable, making the journey less daunting. We were connected with Robin from our realtor based up north, to help us with our search in the Lakewood/Tacoma area. Robin has been so helpful, courteous, and really great to work with during this very stressful process - making it so it wasn't as stressful! She was able to quickly find a property that aligned not only with all of our must-haves, but also checked off everything that was on our wish list! When we viewed the property, she allotted a little extra time for us to look around and ensured that any anxieties I had with being out in public during this COVID-19 era, were relieved. If you are thinking about working with Theory Real Estate, and Robin, you should definitely do it. read more

Theory Real Estate listed our home and helped us buy our new place. The team we worked with was responsive (in a timely manner) and they listened to our needs. We got top dollar for our house and I have no doubt it was due to the guys we worked with. They hustled for us during the appraisal process, as well. I already recommend Theory and I will continue to do so. read more

This is not your grandma's realtor's office! My partner and I worked with Jamie and her husband Chad, and from the first meeting we knew that Jamie and Chad were good listeners and were going to prioritize our wants and needs. We looked at several homes and they were always very punctual and helpful with navigating the corks of each home. Ultimately it only took us several weeks to find our now home and we couldn't be happier. This is our first home purchase and Jamie was extremely helpful with walking us through the steps and was attentive the entire time. Although we we won't likely be on the market again for a while, when we are on the market in the future we will most certainly want Jamie as our realtor. Ask for Jamie and Chad you won't be disappointed. read more

We had the best home-selling experience with Theory Real Estate. Our realtors, Chad and Jamie, were AMAZING. They answered all of our questions - and there were many - which helped to take the mystery out of the process and alleviated any anxiety we had in the beginning. We felt taken care of and supported by the whole Theory team from day 1. The listing approach they proposed worked like a charm and we got what we wanted (and then some) from the home and were able to close on our house faster than we ever could have expected. I know that every situation is different but we felt very lucky to partner with such great realtors. Everyone we worked with at Theory was so friendly and helpful. Their proactive communications made the process clear and seamless. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone I know that's looking to buy or sell a home. read more

I just closed on a house in Tacoma with Theory Real Estate as my representatives, and I couldn't be happier with how it went! I happened to stumble upon them when starting my search, and I could tell immediately that they cared about their clients. They are experts in the area, work round the clock, go above and beyond to ensure I knew what was going on, and ultimately got me a deal that no other agent could. My next purchase in Tacoma will be with Theory and I will 100% recommend them to anyone. Thanks team! read more

I recommend Jamie Mc Donnell at Theory as a realtor who is communicative, direct, calm in moments of chaos, and tenacious. She guided our family through a roller-coaster experience of selling our first ever home -- a process during which we had several eager buyers suddenly back out (one just two days from closing!). Throughout it all, Jamie maintained her composure, walked us through options, patiently answering our naive questions. She made herself available to us by text, call, email, and Zoom which was greatly appreciated since we were listing the house while living more than an hour away. I would definitely trust her as a buying agent as well, when the time comes for us to purchase another property. read more

Our home buying experience with Theory Real Estate was amazing! Jess Day was our realtor and she is absolutely incredible! We spent 9 months looking for a home, driving all over for viewings, and she stuck with us happily until we found our perfect home! We are now the proud owners of our dream home and that's a HUGE thanks to Jess! She really fought for us and it payed off! We are eternally grateful and HIGHLY recommend Jess and the Theory Real Estate team! read more

I love this company. I am happy to know that the leaders of Theory have multiple generations of real estate experience. The whole team of Theory and their lending partners were very fast and thorough during the whole process. This is a tough market, but because of the speed of closing, and the negotiation of Theory, our offer was accepted and we got a good deal. We were able to offer and close within 3 weeks. read more

The Theory team is absolutely wonderful. As a first time home buyer, I required a ton of hand holding, and had all my questions/concerns handled quickly and easily. Austin and Jordyn always made time to show me houses and assist in my home search, whether it was evenings during the week or mornings on the weekend. They assisted me in shopping for a mortgage as well as insurance, and made it as easy as possible for me to prepare to make an offer. I would HIGHLY recommend using Theory for your next home and will be referring all my friends to Theory in the future. read more

Jaime from Theory Real Estate was a pleasure to work with. She listened to our wants and needs in a home and delivered. We can't recommend the Theory family enough, they were in constant communication (which we liked) and walked us through everything we needed to know about home buying. We are very happy and felt we were taken care of every step of the way even when there was a hiccup with escrow Jaime felt our pain and listened. My husband had purchased and sold a home before many years ago and he was very pleased with how personable everyone was and how quickly they moved in order to get us a great deal and the home we wanted. Highly recommend this team of people 100% ! read more

My partner and I had a wonderful experience working with Theory Real Estate on our home purchase. Every member of the team was kind, professional, and communicative. Our agent Lauren was incredibly helpful. She was always available to view a house or talk at short notice, responded quickly to questions, and was able to clearly explain every step of the home buying journey in a no-nonsense fashion. Being first-time homebuyers, we started with little know-how of how to buy a home and a fair bit of anxiety. We finished feeling educated, informed, and confident in the process. And best of all, we found our new home! I would definitely recommend Theory to anyone looking for a fantastic real estate experience. read more

Full disclosure: Alline, one of Theory's agents, is also our daughter. Early this year (2020) we decided to look for a duplex. Alline found some great options for us and we ended up making offers on 5 different houses. Alline ran comps on all of those houses and guided us on our offers to the point where we won the bid on three of those, which already is a great outcome. We decided not to go with the first two houses after inspections came back and the sellers not being willing to compromise regarding repairs. We ended up buying the last one we bid on. The transaction turned out to be incredibly complicated due to the behavior of the seller and his agent. It started with the seller removing all appliances after reaching mutual agreement, pretending repairs were done after he agreed to do them in his inspection report response, and it included the seller's agent composing a fake competing offer to trigger our escalation clause to go to the maximum amount. Alline went above and beyond to dismantle all those things and led us to a timely closing. She communicated very timely and frequently with the seller's side and kept us in the loop at all times. She is well versed in VA loans and loves to help Veterans to get into their own homes. She is generous with her time and clear and concise with her communication. She has great follow-up with "the other side". She also answered all of our questions once the transaction moved to Escrow. We know that Alline will offer the same high level of guidance and responsiveness to any other clients and can only wish for other buyers to have the chance to work with Alline and benefit from her experience and genuine approach. read more

Realtor Autumn A. was an absolute pleasure to work with. We are a family of 3 who relocated from California and were unfamiliar with the Washington area. Being that we were first time home buyers and now, thanks to Autumn, home owners! We had a lot of reservations on finding the right agent. Not only was Autumn kind, flexible, honest, hardworking and easy to work with, Her determination made it a pleasurable experience finding our dream home. She was extremely patient with all three of us as we toured over 25 houses, asked a multitude of questions and had different likes. She really took the time to listened to our wants and needs. Autumn did a fantastic job educating us on details of the state, various cities in the area, and gave us her personal take on things. She also took time to show us places that we definitely enjoyed and will definitely revisit. I will definitely use Autumn for the purchase of a second home and recommend her to future home buyers!Thank you Autum for all your efforts!! You are definitely appreciated!! read more

I am lazy to post reviews, but I can't leave Theory Real Estate without a review because it is well deserved. After having a rocky start to 2020, missing my own University graduation, and getting Covid-19 TWICE, I have one positive outcome that OVERCOMES ALL THOSE SITUATIONS. My husband and I got our DREAM HOUSE! For a whole year Jamie Mc Donnell worked her butt off to help us through the land buying process, then through our stick built home buying process, and finally through the closing of our dream house. When she couldn't make a showing, Lauren Quackenbush was awesome and showed us the model home to our now dream house. This is big in my eyes because it shows that each agent knows the importance of teamwork and doesn't just care about making a quick buck. Jamie went through heck fighting for us and arguing with unfair sellers to get us in this house. And we appreciate her so much for this! My husband and I also had Covid-19 during the time of the inspection of the house so we unfortunately couldn't be there for the first inspection but Jamie found an awesome inspector named Greg who marked every nick and cranny in the house to make sure that we were not left in the dark. Jamie made this house buying process run smoother than what we thought it would be like. When the sellers of our home were delaying the closing multiple times, Jamie offered them help with acquiring materials and even offered them a few of her construction crews who she knows are hardworking and will not drag their feet. OH YES! She has connections! She literally did everything and anything in her power to get us this house. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would. HIGHLY RECCOMEND! read more
