My wife hired Yasemin Elmas, general manager of TheaBridge for her H1B application. We don`t recommend this company and her to anyone since she doesn't have enough knowledge on immigration, she doesn`t care about her customers and she is not responsive. Here is her experience.
"Yasemin was very responsive and following up with me very frequently at the beginning until I sign the contract and make the payment. Suddenly, it was very difficult to reach her. She was always in a meeting or very busy.
She is not a lawyer and she doesn`t have enough knowledge about immigration. She advised me to extend my cap gap extension beyond October 1st. With a little research everyone knows that this is impossible.Google knows it but she doesn`t. After I insist, she asked to a lawyer and told me I was right. She claims that she had experience in immigration but she doesn`t know this simple thing.
Since she is not responsive and not a lawyer, everything moves very slow. She says she needs to consult with a lawyer, then it takes days and days. If you don`t follow up, she doesn`t come back with an answer. Because of this slowness my application reached USCIS the day before the quote filled. I was lucky.
After I got the documents I realized that she wrote the revenue of the company in the form where it asks for the gross income. It was already submitted and when I ask about this she told me she does it like this for years. Doing it for years doesn`t mean you are doing something right. I didn`t get the logic here. As I stated before she gave us wrong information on Cap Gap extension, so I don`t understand how she can speak like this without the knowledge.
We got an RFE from USCIS, mainly asking to prove why this position is a specialty occupation which is the main purpose of an H1B application. She didn`t do a good job in the initial application to prove this so we got an RFE in my opinion. I also consulted with an immigration lawyer and she agreed that the RFE is a result of a weak and careless application. However, Yasemin claimed that it is due to the complexity of the company and she didn`t accept any responsibility. She asked for another $1.250 to reply to RFE. Also she recommended to get an expert opinion which costs extra $500. Basically she didn`t do her job at the beginning and asked for more to do the things she supposed to do at the beginning. She doesn`t care about the application, she only tries to charge you more. I tried to explain this to her, she gave me irrelevant answers and kept saying my employer had a complex business.
I paid Theabridge over $2000 but they didn't do their job. As a result, my employer didn`t want to spend any more time and money on this process so I lost my job.
If you check the filtered reviews, you can see that Yasemin wrote a review for Theabridge and gave 5 stars. A general manager writing a review and giving her company 5 stars. Who does that?..." read more
