Super neat place for the crafty types. The owner was very helpful and even humored me by looking at all my Pinterest pictures.

I long for better customer service and more fabric dye in store. I am not to proud to say it we could be besties, but your lack of understanding of the things I need,and the ways you frustrate me mean that we will have to only hangout online. Your sister Maker's Place seems like a great idea. Etsy is full of dropshippers and scam artists galore. Hopefully you will teach her well of the dangers of turning out like that @$#! Etsy. I am hopeful for the future and how much the market will make it possible for my small shop to grow.

We had great service from Cheri, who walked us around the store, trying to help us and give us…read morealternatives when they did not have a product we needed. She was friendly and was there when we were ready to check out ... Which was when things went downhill. The cash register wasn't working. More specifically, the scanner wasn't working. Cheri informed her coworkers she would be moving to register #4 before her manager rudely shouted, "No, you're not!" Apparently that is the manager-only cash register. An associate came over to help try to fix the cash register, but was not successful in fixing the scanner. Cheri had to enter the item numbers of all our purchases manually. During this time, the manager decided she would go to register four. She checked out two customers behind us while Cheri was still entering the numbers of our purchases. I cannot believe we had to wait through all that, honestly. It's such a little thing and we were not in a rush, it was just poor customer service. But what really got me was the way both the associate and especially the manager were speaking in a derogatory manner toward Cheri. She was just doing her job, trying to give us the best experience and they had such little respect for her. There are four cash registers and they made Cheri continue to process our purchases at the only one that wasn't working. It was ridiculous. Poor customer service and I would prefer to shop in an environment where everyone is respectful.
