The owner Kat was also the instructor. She was very thorough in her instructions before getting started so everyone was clear on what to do at each station. There were 3 exercises at each of 4 stations covering all the bases, leaving you spent after each one. Kat provided tips and motivational quips throughout which was super helpful. The other ladies in the class were friendly and welcoming. This is a 3 story boutique gym with even the 1st floor indoor area open to the outside allowing you to enjoy the fresh air and breeze from the nearby ocean. There are amazing views of the sunset over the ocean from the 3rd floor. Here's the best part, I happened to be there on a night where they were having a wine tasting social on the 3rd floor from 5:30pm-8pm. Kat and her assistant put out a lovely spread, both generous and tasty. Members brought bottles of wine to share while socializing and making new friends. It was such an awesome way to bond with this little community, which is something Kat really prides herself on. It's not just a gym but like a second home, somewhere you enjoy going to not just rushing in to grab a workout and get out. Check this out if you're in the area, you'll be glad you did! I know I'll definitely rely be back.

The atmosphere here is welcoming, totally non-intimidating, and genuinely enjoyable. I absolutely love the new gym layout, especially all of the booty builder equipment they've added downstairs. It's honestly one of my favorite parts--I get excited to come in and work on building my glutes! The equipment is fantastic, the amenities are top-notch, and the staff is always friendly and supportive. The transformation this gym has gone through is incredible, and it just keeps getting better. Ocean Pacific Gym has turned something I used to dread into something I look forward to every day. Highly recommended! Also the sauna that looks out into the ocean is a great way to end my workout.

Staff acknowledged the cancellation and apologized, but the charges continued. These unauthorized charges disrupted another automatic payment I had scheduled. In addition, I signed a contract with the understanding that certain amenities would be available. Over time, several amenities either disappeared or were not functioning as advertised. Equipment was frequently in poor condition, some machines did not work properly, and basic facility expectations were not consistently met. There were also ongoing issues with air conditioning, and even simple amenities like stocked shampoo and conditioner were unreliable. If you choose to join, I strongly recommend getting any cancellation in writing and carefully reviewing what amenities are actually operational versus what is advertised.

Its is not filtered in the bathroom. It's not filtered in the main gym ; and it is not filtered in the restaurant. I don't know about you, but I don't want a smoothie made with sink water and I don't want to work up a sweat and drink sink water thats unfiltered I hope they Fix or charge us less each month! Also don't be dishonest and have your water in a place where it looks like it's filtered. I would think you could get in trouble for doing that. After having enough, I called the place nearest to me I could walk to. I was ultimately introduced to and booked with an exceptional trainer, Katie Kurtz. So glad I connected with her. Katie is so knowledgeable, inspirational and genuine. She pays mind to injuries or "bad days" and pivots workouts on the fly to avoid further injury/issues when needed. She does not just keep going- she checks in regularly throughout our hour sessions to see if she needs to rearrange the next step if needed. She starts the workouts always asking if there are any issues she should be aware of, and if you answer honestly, she goes from there to re-craft the session. She is strong, tough, fierce, attentive, and skillful. Really hard and great workouts- tuned for me! I was surrounded by the other staff at BRF often- good vibes, great personalities, and lots of hard workouts there.
