At 8am on Saturdays they have a free class for anyone to join. It can get pretty busy as it's a mix of new/prospective members, your regular CF members, and even kids! This specific class is not your usual CrossFit WOD (Workout of the Day). It's more of an aerobic workout with a partner or two. For example you and your partner has do X amount of squats, push ups, and burpees. It's up to you and your partner how you split that up. That can be a little less intimidating when you have someone to work with. If you're shy, bring a friend! Otherwise the people are pretty nice and let you join their group. Some of them are cliquey, but that's because they're used to working out with the same people all the time. The coaches are encouraging and are great at coming up with different workouts each week. You won't get a lot of attention because there are so many people. If you're unfamiliar with the moves, it will be difficult at first. I know all the moves, so it's a good, sweaty workout that's different from my usual exercise routine.

Today with the help of a Groupon, the kids were able to do more than they are normally allowed to do. They bowled, had a few turns on the laser maze and jumped in the inflatables. The laser maze and bowling get zero complaints from me. However, The inflatables gets 1 star- the inflatables themselves are great, but... The absolutely ridiculous turf, they stupidly put down in a children's play area.... I cant even! There are these black pellets all over the place "for your comfort and safety" Let me tell you my child's bloody murder screams from the pellet in his eye, that refused to come out, and the over 15 minutes he spent crying in pain on the bathroom floor, to his now probably scratched cornea... safety and comfort are not exactly the words that crossed my mind. There were a lot of swear words that did, however. This definitely ruined my son's fun. I really do not understand the point of this material being added. It is definitely not safe. I will not be back (for the inflatables) for this reason specifically. I would also recommend parents go to other inflatable entertainment facilities we have in the area. Everything here is pretty costly. As a parent I cant afford to bring my kids here often. But they do have fun when they go. Pilates Central offers both mat and reformer (the machine invented by Joseph Pilates that looks like a medieval torture device with ropes and springs) classes. The reformer classes are limited to four people so you get lots of personal attention. Classes are offered in the morning, during the day and at night so you can always find a time that suits you. Abby's great about rescheduling too so you can usually change your time around if something comes up.
