This specific store is much smaller than the one in Central London but they still have a lot of stuff in there to browse through. There is anything from DVD's to Books to Action Figures. The staff members are extremely helpful and enthusiastic about the merchandise they sell. I've got nothing but praise for this store as I feel like a little kid when I walk through those doors which can never be a good thing as I will be broke! The store has regular specials and you can get all your comic book needs from them, they have a HUGE selection. yes it really is as good as it gets visiting the sutton ((greater london in surrey) branch of…read morewaterstones. call me an old bookworm, but why be anywhere else when you can be here !! this sutton branch is pretty huge and takes up two storeys, both of them expansive (note that is an "a" in the middle - it is not expensive!). there is a lift for those whose bodies are less robust than their brains. the staff here are incredibly polite and helpful and patient. there is cafe w on the upper level so that you start reading over a coffee and snack before you head home. don't even get me started on how much better it is buying here rather than online. there are some experiences you cannot put a price on and a visit here is one of them.

It is like a whole new world of the past when you walk through the narrow doorway. A word of advice, do not take small children in there as they do not like people picking up their goods as most of it is antiques. They've got something for everyone in there, even if you do not like antiques. I saw a bunch of comics from my youth, a few action figures, tonnes of clothes, books and memorabilia scattered all over the place. The Haynes Market is a maze but a fun one. There is stairs from the first floor to the ground floor where you will discover a few more stalls to browse from. My friends got to wrapped up in the market that we spend ages in there looking at things, it's just amazing. Haynes Market is what a market in London should be like!

There's three things I've come to expect at comic shops, and that is the wall of new comics, longboxes of older comics and those rarer comics hung up higher. That said A Place In Space is primarily an online operation and the walk in traffic is probably a bound to them so they don't go overboard no the way the shop looks. They have a large variety of comic books form Marvel & DC. They have the current stuff you may like A vs X, current X-men and Spiderman books to name a few. They have an extensive stock of older comic books and the larger graphic novels which have become popular. Every time I go in they seems to have a discount on the price of both the comic books and graphic novels, which I am not going to complain about!! Where other shops of this nature also have a variety of models of comic book heroes this one does not have that many, but as I said the main focus of the shop is the comic book. They have a multitude of comics of which the staff know where they all are. The staff are knowledgable and will let you know they are always getting deliveries and it is possible that the comic you are after may come in soon you just have to check back to see. The big plus for me is that I don't have to go into town if I wish to look for a comic book which is a huge bonus to me.
