It was good and I would order it again. I was expecting more of their beers but they did round out the tap selection with other OK beers. The Hubs had a Roughtail. We were starving so I ordered the smoked brisket mac 'n cheese and he ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza. We specifically asked if the pizza was good and made in house (because honestly, I was getting the vibe that this might be a heat 'n eat kind of place). We were told they make their own crusts. They do but know that it is a totally whole wheat crust, quite dark and doughy. It's just a different take on pizza. If there was chicken on the pizza it was very finely chopped. It was almost like they used a Buffalo chicken dip for the topping. The mac 'n cheese was unremarkable and the brisket was doused in BBQ sauce. We didn't finish either. Service was friendly and I hope we just caught them on a bad night. I was just expecting a lot more. I would visit again. I love hometown breweries and that's probably why this is a three star and not a two.

But: -this place has SO much delayed maintenance, it looks like it's falling apart. Too many issues to mention, from the siding of the cabin peeling and aging horribly, lighting that is rigged and not finished nicely (cords hanging), to the chapel having outlets half poking out (a horrible danger for small fingers). -the owner/operator does not seem to know the definition of hospitality. He is rude, condescending, threatening and simply one of the most unwelcoming people I've ever met. He's in the wrong business. -the catered food was terrible. The potatoes were so salty, they were not edible. The rest of the meal was just blah. -the outdoor spaces are littered with clutter and debris. -there's a giant hole in the middle of one of the main roadways. I'm not talking small pot hole, I'm talking a 3 foot deep hole that would destroy a car. -the cabin is full of dusty, unkempt clutter. There is literally junk everywhere. -dirty and dingy.
