***STEER CLEAR***
After my last interaction with The windscreen man I can't explain how disappointed I am. After purchasing a new(secondhand) vehicle and requiring a new windscreen for RWC, Tim one of the fitters came out to remove and refit the new windscreen just before Christmas. After he had left I noticed that the scuttle tray was loose against the windscreen, after inspecting the fitter had pushed and glued(urethane) the weather strip down past the windscreen locating gutter.
The owner Adam, called me and told me it was "normal" but after explaining to him that the weather strip that should have been fitted to the windscreen was intact not fitted at all and was push and glued further down past the windscreen, he agreed to have Tim come back out and inspect. Tim said there was no way he would remove the windscreen without replacement incase he broke it removing it.
Tim returned to replace the windscreen 2 weeks later, when removing the windscreen he damaged the paint on my car, taking a big chunk of paint of of the bonnet. I didn't notice until Tim had left and when I raised the issue with the owner Adam, he said he would ask Tim what happens? He told me that he didn't recall doing it but it's possible he did, and he would get it sorted.
Adam the owner totally denies that Tim did the damaged and just because there was fresh chunks of paint it didn't mean it was him. I now my requested of contact have been ignored and there has been absolutely no response from them. Pathetic customer service! I would strongly recommended that you look at getting actual professional in the replace your windscreen because these guys are just hacks. read more
