I met Kathleen when she was doing LKN Sports photography for the sports and club teams. My son played lacrosse on the same team her son did and it eventually dawned on me that this nice mom on the team was producing some pretty stellar shots of my son and everyone else's sons. I cherish the pictures she shared with me, catching moments in the game that I sometimes missed. As she moved on to senior photography I marveled at the variety of locations and her ability to capture her subjects in places and with props that reflected their passions. Our school had a mandated senior photographer otherwise I would have chosen Kathleen for our senior photos. During the Covid shutdown she brought The Front Porch Project to Mooresville. It was an opportunity to support a worthy charity, Feed NC and also a chance to capture this difficult and scary time, with our families, on our own front porches.
