What a gem of a florist in Hales Corners!…read more I literally stumbled into this spot. I was nearby getting my dog groomed and had planned to stop at a florist to find an arrangement to bring home to my mom whose birthday it was. After dropping the fur baby off at the groomers, I quickly searched Yelp for a nearby florist. Barb's Green House Florist came up and my son and I headed over. Barb's is lovely. Upon entering their location which is in a charming large historical house-like building, you are immediately met with lush green and blooms galore. In addition to fresh cut flowers, you can also get plants and greeting cards. A quick right turn takes you to their florist/service area. I was immediately greeted and when I explained that I was hoping to take an arrangement home that day, they had several pre-made arrangements I could choose from. I was able to find a large and luscious arrangement with stunning red roses that had lighter red streaks on their petals as well as some generously petaled hydrangeas and some sprigs of evergreen. It was stunning and completely wowed my mom. The prices are on the upper end of average ($85 for the arrangement) but totally worth every penny. I've since learned they've been in business for 45 years--it's no wonder! Their weaving creativity, magic, and beautiful blooms in here. Get to it!

I love Flowers for Dreams. Have been a fan ever since they opened in Milwaukee. I love that a…read moreportion of their profits goes to a different nonprofit in the community each month. Their flowers are beautiful. I get a bouquet every year for Valentine's Day. This year, I was feeling under the weather, was leaving work early when my boyfriend said the delivery window was 8-5. I called FFD and spoke with a staff member who let me know we couldn't reroute the delivery but they would make me a new bouquet to pick up. The staff member was so patient as I had almost completely lost my voice. I showed up to their shop with my mask on and a barely audible hello. They knew exactly who I was and got my package ready for me. I love that they partner with other small businesses to create fun bundles. The candle accompanying the flowers smelled amazing and the chocolates were delicious. Over a week later and the flowers look just as good as on day one! They also have fun workshops to build your own bouquets and seasonal wreaths. Highly recommend them as a quality, ethical florist.

I would say the pictures on the website are very misleading in terms of what you get. I ordered a medium sized arrangement and what my friend received, though beautiful, was significantly smaller than the image of the medium arrangement on the website. Attaching a picture of what his pictured as a medium on the website and what actually arrived. I emailed and sent the photos as feedback and never received a reply.

I came in with a very specific vision for every floral and décor detail, and Casey took that vision and ran with it. If they didn't already have something I was looking for, they went out of their way to source it. They respected our budget and were so patient and collaborative, always making me feel involved in the design process. I truly have one word for the work they did: GORGINA. My jaw completely dropped on our wedding day. Casey and her team went to the moon and back to achieve the exact look and feel we dreamed of. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and the love, care, and artistry behind it all were absolutely breathtaking. Worth every penny. I genuinely enjoyed every call and meeting throughout the process. I cannot recommend Flowers for Dreams weddings enough. Seamless process, amazing people, and an overall magical experience!

So, I ordered a plant for my friend's office to celebrate his promotion, thinking it would be a thoughtful and meaningful gift. Instead, he called me laughing and asked what it was supposed to be. Apparently, the "potted plant" was tiny and looked more like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree than a congratulatory gift. Good grief! Not only was it a complete waste of money... quite a bit of money because they are overpriced... but I was absolutely mortified. Thankfully, he understood that my heart was in the right place and never mentioned it again. And, oh! To add insult to injury, it died shortly after! Two thumbs down. Cannot recommend. It's the Temu of flower delivery - order at your own risk!
