All you can eat for £8.99 About a 10 minute taxi ride from Scunthorpe train station, costing around £7.50 Not so great: No lift I found a giant beetle in my room... these things can't be helped but it really freaked me out! As a family of five plus baby, we went to this resteraunt, was met at the door by a smart well…read moremannered young man, couldnt have wished for better service, baby was welcome too with sturdy highchairs, the meals were very flavoursome, and good value for money, we had bottomless chips with our meals of which none of us actually needed, the plates were full of the food you ordered not just covered with the side (chips) like most resteraunts tend to dowe shall definately be eating there again. Easy to find hotel with car park. Big comfy bed with clean…read morebed sheets. Big room (there was an empty space in which you could have put a double bed easily). Check out at 12, so you don't have to rush in the morning. Free wifi everyday for 30 minutes. TV in the room, but very bad image quality and very few channels. Wardrobe space when you enter the room with hangers. So far so good. But then I went to the bathroom. And I wasn't impressed. It had been cleaned but there was a funky smell to start with and there was a horrifying bath mat stuck at the bottom of the bath. Positive point: safety-wise, it does prevent you from slipping. Not so positive point: it looks minging and full of germs. In addition, the show curtain was a bit too long and therefore didn't look the best at the bottom. Whereas there was plenty of pressure at the tap, the shower was ridiculous. I am glad I haven't got longer hair otherwise I would have taken me an hour to wash my hair. I was going to give it a 4/5 stars till I reached the bathroom. If it was getting sorted (not just putting new sealant around the bath, it would be an excellent value for money hotel.

The staff are actually very friendly and professional and check in/out is a breeze. The rooms are standard for a Travelodge, very clean, pretty spacious and contains everything you need for a stay. The rooms have TVs as well as a small table and chairs and obviously a bed. Although Travelodges in general have very little personality and character this does not take away the fact that it is a good, cheap and convenient place to stay.

The decor - well, there wasn't any, the place was just an absolute dump. It was an actual joke how bad this place was. It was that bad, the next night that had been bought and paid for, but he didn't care, he went and booked another night and checked out. I wouldn't advise anyone on staying here.
