This was the closest seafood restaurant to our hotel in St. Helens.
It had an awesome view of the harbor and we got seated right by the window.
The menu selection was a little bit of everything and a little bit more expensive than the other restaurants we visited on our trip.
The shrimp pappardelle had a rich tomato's sauce, plump shrimp and al dente pasta.
The portion of blue eye was a smaller than I expected for the price but the crisp skin was a nice touch versus the earlier blue eye. I did like the broccolini and sauce but wasn't too excited about any of the sides.
The chocolate mud cake had a nice chocolatey flavor and the berry compote helped offset the richness. I wish it was more moist instead of being so still like it was out of a refrigerator.
Service was good and efficient. Since it was a weekend there was an additional 10% surcharge on top of everything. read more
