The second time was when a different friend lost her grandmother. We found this florist through other friends who lived nearby. Susie, the owner, was gracious, pleasant and kind. Her knowledge of flowers astounded us. Her suggestions stayed within our budget but the arrangements were abundant and elegant. She arranged for delivery as well. These things are always hard enough to arrange in the next municipality, let alone on the other side of the country. I've seen her website. Her shop looks gorgeous. She took the time to show us options via her online presence and even texted us photos of the final arrangements. I hope I get to visit the shop one day. She also offered to do a living arrangement for a funeral service so that our family could plant it after to remember our family member each time their birthday rolled around when the plant bloomed. The service is the best I have ever had from a floral designer. The options she offered were always within our budget and in line with our taste. While not as cheap as grabbing a bouquet from Costco, her arrangements and bouquets exude good taste. In one case, her arrangement looked like something from Downton Abbey it was so elegant and abundant. Susie knows which colours and flowers go together well. She suggested we stick with flowers that were in season to not go over budget. There was nothing frugal about the look of her creations. They looked very extravagant. For the person you deal with, the experience of choosing flowers and the final product, I wholeheartedly recommend Riverside Florists. They made long distance tributes an easy and pleasant experience with a final product that wowed both families.

It clearly was not a fresh orchid. You could see where several blossom's had already fallen off and there were no new buds which you always find on a fresh orchid. I have had orchids for many years and you can expect them to last at least 2 months. In this case the orchid started to die in 5 days. When I received the orchid it had been clearly overwatered. This orchid should never been sold. I phoned Cameron's to express my concern and after being passed to various people, the person I talked to seemed to be in charge. The person offered no solutions to the problem. Good customer service would have meant they would have replaced the orchid. I know that Cameron's has changed hands over the last several years and it is not the florist the original owners had created. The quality of their flowers. is simply inferior. We stopped using them as our florist several years ago and I am going to advise my son to stop using them as well.

We had ordered ONLY full size blown out roses and babies breath, this is why I went with them because they said they could do this for us. We had multiple virtual meetings and one in person to make sure we were on the same page. Just for the day to come and nothing to be as we expected. The center pieces looked like they had 1/4 of the flowers we spoke about. They subbed ALL of our blown out roses for mini regular roses when we paid extra specifically for this. When I say all I mean ALL, Our signage florals, center pieces, head table pieces, alter pieces. Everything. We got florals for our dog collars that were small enough for a chihuahua not a large dog so you couldn't see them what so ever (we were told they have used these on lamas). The one that still makes me mad is they hug ALL of our aisle florals going down the aisle, upside down!! So the stems were sticking up. It looked ridiculous and still does in photos! I reached out to them after the fact and all that was said is we can come to a workshop for free? Why would I want to come learn about flowers over an hour drive away and how does that make up for you not upholding your word on our contract. After i declined and said they owe us compensation back they ghosted us and never replied. I'd leave this review on Google but they clearly deleted their Google due to all the bad reviews. When I saw my wedding flowers day of, they weren't like my inspo pics I had sent her which was quite disappointing because I only wanted big focal point arrangements. I had heard quite a few negative comments about her from other people and hoped I wouldn't have issues but was disappointed with the appointment rescheduling and how my flowers turned out on my wedding day.
