We spent a pleasant 15 minutes talking about cigars in general and my needs in particular. At the end of this he had outfitted me with about 30 sticks at a very reasonable price. Charging $55.00 for a single cigar whereas the same cigar at other cigar shops are $30.00 Also, the staff is inexperienced with cigars. They have employees who work there who know nothing about cigars, cutters, lighters and ashtrays, cedar spills and butane. Terrible knowledge of cigars and product. The location is welcoming and inviting and beautiful inside. They do carry high end product. The owner is there and she sits in the sofa chair and is texting on her phone all the time. Doesn't seem to care about establishing a connection with her clientele. They are way too expensive! My suggestion to Havana Castle Richmond Hill. Lower your prices to industry standards at other B&Ms and hire competent staff who are cigar smokers and can give proper advice and know their product well. This is an honest and fair review. They have their basics covered with a couple selections from Cuba, Dominican, and Nicaraguan. The accesories are the regular items you would find in a cigar shop; lighters, cutters, butane ect. The humidor is a decent size and accomodates a nice variety of cigars in all sizes. The prices are about the same as you would pay anywhere else. The staff treated me with a smile and took care in wraping my cigars. Over all a nice little shop.
