We could not have asked for a more beautiful site for the wedding and reception, including the large tented concrete pad, bar, and wonderfully manicured grass. After a quick search it was very clearly a bed bug. Took it to the front desk and showed them the bug and told them it was a bed bug and the front desk staff told me that no it wasn't, it was probably an outside bug. After I had time to process, I realized La Quinta charged my card for the room despite never checking in. She explained that the cancellation policy is clear, and even if I had called the same day (before death occurred) she wouldn't have refunded it. What a pathetic excuse for customer service! Obviously, they don't care about you, spend your hard earned money on a place that will value you and not treat you as profit. Might have dodged a bullet with the recent discovery of bed bugs.
