The ladies working here were very nice and kept things moving despite it being busy when we came in. A nice spot overall and one we're glad we got to check out.

Unfortunately, this time was a big disappointment. We waited about 10 minutes for our drinks, even though two other customers who ordered after us already got theirs and left. We didn't mind waiting since we know some drinks take longer to make, but when we finally got ours, there was no passion fruit popping at all. On top of that, the drinks tasted nothing like before--no flavor, just really strong green tea with boba. On top of that, the girl who took our order didn't seem happy at all, which made the experience feel even worse. Really sad to have such a bad experience after two great visits.

I can confidently tell you that we were not expecting to find a really good pho place, but we absolutely did and were better for it! The place had gotten good reviews online, so we decided to check it out. We were in the middle of a rainy/foggy stretch on the east side of the mountains, so it just felt like a good day for some soup-esk! We had a ton of great standard options, including meatball, chicken, beef, tripe, and even a seafood option. My early days of got me hooked on the meatballs, so we had to try it. We also got a seafood all, and as a side, we had fried quail! We've been a lot of places, and I've never seen quail as an option. These things came out spatchcocked like a boss, and we're quite delicious! The food came out quickly, the folks working here were very friendly, and the place had just a really chill vibe. It was a nice spot to enjoy some delicious soup and bird on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We can tell why people like this place and will be back the next time we come through town!

The service was also perfectly okay--nothing spectacular, but fast enough and polite. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves left a lot to be desired. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea, and it tasted incredibly diluted. There was barely any actual tea flavor coming through. To make matters worse, the boba texture was pretty disappointing. It tasted like it had been sitting out for way too long. Instead of being completely soft and chewy, quite a few of the boba pearls had a distinctly hard interior. It's a lovely space to hang out, but they really need to step up their drink quality and boba freshness.

But!!! The store did not display pricing labels for all of the products, so I had to pay $10.85 for the designed keychain holders on the cashier spot because no specification on pricing, despite asking. ahhhhhhh!!! got the charms to make a $10.85 bracelet/necklace/keychain, but the materials that they use to make these items are not compatible with all of the beads available for choosing. staff did not make this clear and also made it as so they would make the items...they do not. need this shop to be more transparent, please! I would rate higher had they been, but staff means well. I know that. cute little store with so many asian culture goodies and sanrio products. I liked that...just overpriced. Expected. Will say that the bright white lighting felt like that of a hospital because not a lot of decoration or housing in the middle of the shop for customers to drink, eat, make their jewelry, or roam around to window shop. awkwardly empty in the middle, so it felt like I was in a morgue with how the setup made it that the shelves flashed to the wall corners.
