Then every one would carry on as normal as if you didn't exsit In the summer on can sit outside and watch the world go by although in Blundeston there is very little happening apart from the No 29 bus which runs every 45 minutes. The village is a quiet place, there may be the odd dog walker pass by and stop for a natter. Here you can try out some fine beers from local breweries with strange names like Broadsword which is quite strong. The meals are very good and enjoyable plus they have quite a selection to choose from and there is always a vegetarian option. This place gets quite busy at the weekends though so if your think of eating here book early. A good place to enjoy a meal and quite reasonable priced as well.

They have two menus - a full menu which is available lunchtimes and evenings and a 'lite bites' menu which I think is available only at lunchtimes. One really good thing about the full menu is that instead if offering the normal kids meals (sausage and chips, chicken nuggets and chips etc.) they actually offer all of the adult meals in 'piglet portions' at half the price of the adult meals. The food, the wine and the service is all excellent! In the summer there is a lovely outdoor are with huge bench tables under huge parasols and individual tables aswell. The nearby function room has played home to everything from auctions to music of various sorts - however they now seem to concentrate on bands. Parking can be difficult at weekends.

I was not happy at all though to be told that we could only have the table for two hours then we'd have to vacate it. When I protested the person I spoke to said tough (in more words than that but that was the upshot) that's how we run it here. So basically go if you want to be rushed, hurried and kicked off your table to the bar once they have your money. The food is good but not that good and there are better restaurants nearby (The Red Herring in Oulton Broad or the White Lion at Wheatacre for example) . Comments by Qype User regarding being rushed off your table are unreasonable it is a very popular restaurant and two hours should be plenty of time to eat three courses and drink some wine. If Qype User wants to party maybe they should go a pub like the Wheatacre White Lion which incidentally has the worst Thai food I've ever tasted. It's a pub not the Blue Elephant but I've been there twice and a greasy sloppy mess springs to mind.
