My sound bath with Lucia was truly magical. Lucia used singing bowls, chime, rattle, and other instruments, and she sings during the session. Her voice--wow her voice is so enchanting. So what did I feel? My body felt completely enveloped and bathed by sound. My hands, soles of my feet, my torso were all tingling. My mind and thoughts slowed way down into a state of deep meditation. What did I see? Well, I didn't really expect to see anything since my eyes were closed, but... I started to see intense circular waves of colors--violets, purples, blues and red, and the colors changed with each song. I have seen colors before during reiki sessions and once during a shirodhara treatment with oil poured on my forehead. To me, this meant my chakras were opening and any energies that were trapped or blocked released. I left the sound bath feeling completely relaxed, recharged and completely restored. I met Lucia within the last year at a women's gathering. She sang for the group and it was amazing. This last week, I attended a co-ed workshop that she participated in. She provided the group with a sound bath at the end, finishing on a magical note. I have been to many sound baths before, where the practitioner used crystal bowls. Lucia's was different, she used a loop machine, her voice and instruments. At first, I was skeptical as I hadn't ever experienced this type of sound bath before but the vibrations of her voice on the loop machine helped me enter an extremely meditative state and was so much more personal than the sound baths I had experienced previously. To come out at the end, Lucia played the guitar and sang and it was such a gentle introduction back to reality and was extremely grounding. Her voice is peaceful, angelic and beautiful. Lucia is lovely! She was at a women's event that I attended and I loved how she held such beautiful space for us and led us through powerful and fun voice exercises. Her voice is very beautiful! After I met her, I have done a private sound bath (which is exquisite and so healing) and private voice lessons with her. Since I'm in the South Bay, I do the voice lessons on skype which is very convenient. I do not have much singing experience, and she does a lovely job of doing lessons for people who don't have much experience!
