I spent 40 minutes trying to get him all the information/receipt numbers, etc., that he needed to pull up the receipt in his system. Finally he found the receipt and printed it out. He still said he couldn't give credit for the exchange and I told him to split the transaction and make it a straight return and I would purchase the replacement items on another credit card as a straight sale. Then his system locked up and he had to ring up the transaction all over again. I told him how needlessly frustrating the experience was and he refused to finish the transaction and told me to leave the store. He told me how HE had been patient with me. (What a joke). He wouldn't give me the receipt he was holding in his hand or tell me his name. Well done Vitamin Shoppe. You lost a customer for life. This is the first review I've posted in years but wow did your customer service training drop the ball on this one.

Years ago it was the office of the Bucks County Democratic Committee, but is now available for more useful purposes. I stopped in to purchase vitamin K7 for me and iron for my wonderful wife. Stan was within holding court. The store isn't large, but it is generally well stocked, and he is very knowledgeable about nutrition. I told him what I needed, and he escorted me to their respective locations. Luckily, I was able to secure the last K7 in stock (strengthens the immune system) and he made sure the iron wasn't for me (can cause cardiac issues in men). I assured him that was the case and we completed our transaction. Prices were reasonable and the entire episode lasted under 15 minutes; just the amount of time offered by the limited parking zone out in front. Given the usual difficulty with Doylestown Borough parking, I knew this was my lucky day.
