The Vision Field did photography and videography for a private family event / reunion and celebration that we had in Los Angeles. We rented out a small event space and hired a party planner who suggested them to us. We were very happy with their services and work and the way they captured the evening! Guests were impressed by their enthusiasm and professionalism. Thank you Erica and Laura for capturing and creating memories for our family ! read more

Talk about bad business! This company solicited us from a Facebook post during our search for a videographer for our wedding, and decided to CANCEL on us based on the "terms in their contract". After meeting with both partners and expressing our interest in using them, and even as far as going through the contract with one of them on the phone, it was expressly clear of our intent to hire them for our wedding. Especially after signing and returning the contract SAME DAY. My fiancee informed one of the partners that she needed to move some funds into her checking account in order to pay them for the agreed upon total of the contract, come to find out, we did not pay them within their "48-hour payment window". While this is stipulated in the fine print of their contract, funds were being moved over a weekend (Sunday / bank closure) as we told them, and upon follow up of payment after the funds cleared, this company informed us they have already engaged with another party to work with over our wedding weekend without a single word from them. Nice people to talk to, will stab you in the back with the "terms of their contract". Do not book them if you are in need of a wedding videographer, or your plans will change quickly! read more

My medical communications company desperately needed videographers, on very short notice, to assist with filming an important anatomical dissection educational program. A very lucky web search led me to The Vision Field. They responded immediately to my request and continued to be helpful and responsive. Erica and Laura did a PHENOMENAL job on this shoot. They were extremely professional, timely, helpful, creative, and patient. The footage was fantastic - exactly what was needed for the project. I have no idea where to even begin, these ladies are AMAZING! I fell in love when I caught their work on Instagram and immediately knew that what they were capable of capturing the vibe I was going for for my own wedding day. I had the pleasure of speaking to them on the phone prior to the big day and they were able to give me some details as to how their production works. They also asked me what kind of cinematic vibe I was going for which I absolutely loved since everybody has a different take on what they may want in a finished product. When I actually received the video I fell in love I can't stop watching it!! They nailed it to a T and I could not be more thrilled that I invested in these amazing ladies/artists!!! Can there be a perfect review, than this is it. With only three days notice, Laura and Erica made themselves on a Sunday, shot all day and then literally spent the entire night editing for me. During the shoot they adjusted to problems on the fly, had great idea after great idea and it was obvious they cared about what they do and the goals I had for the video. Then to top that off they edited my tape to perfection. Created drama and humor, targeted all the best moments with very little instruction. I couldn't recommend them higher. read more

I've had the pleasure of working with Laura and Erica for 2 videos, and they've been nothing but great! Laura and Erica have been extremely professional from the first meeting; they were perceptive to my needs/thoughts but also at the same time did not hesitate to provide their input. Throughout their creative process, they kept me in the loop on their progress and were also very quick to respond. I absolutely loved how the videos turned out and the pretty custom-made USB drives were definitely a cherry on top! I would definitely recommend this dream team to friends and family! read more

Loved working with Laura and Erica. I needed a shoot with a model and a controlled studio space, both of which I didn't have. They found the model who was not only perfect to the description which we were looking for but was so easy to work with as well. I ended up hiring her for another shoot soon after. They were patient, easy going, and open to suggestion. Couldn't ask for more. At the end of the day they left me with plenty of material to work with in post. Highly recommend them for any visual creative endeavor you might have. Talented, professional, polite, easy to work with (very important). Check them out! read more

Our first exposure to Laura and Erica who own Vision Field was during my Dad's retirement celebration in November 2017. He had hired them to film the event and he could not have been more impressed with both their professionalism and attention to detail. The end result for that event was so incredible, my fiancé and I decided to hire them for our wedding. From the first time we spoke about our wishes, they were simply outstanding. There were a couple packages we were torn between but decided to go with the 15 min edit video. After deciding, my husband and I wondered if they'd be able to capture our whole day in a 15 min video. They did and exceeded our expectations. We also purchased the Instagram 1 min edit and it was the best teaser of all times. The whole day was perfect and Laura and Erica captured everything! We couldn't have been happier with the end result. We had some special requests, from the music we chose to special edits and they not only met those requests, but made it even more special. We highly recommend the Vision Field for weddings and special events as we are looking forward to working with them again in the near future. read more

HIRE THEM!!! If you're looking for top quality craftsmanship, a video that stands out with a unique style, THESE ARE THE VIDEOGRAPHERS FOR YOU. I truly cannot say enough AMAZING things about The Vision Field. Working with Laura & Erica blew all of my expectations out of the water. I came across the company on The Knot, after searching through HUNDREDS of wedding videographers to find one that had a unique style. Most companies I found offered beautiful work, but the videos were pretty generic in terms of style. I was seeking something more creative, innovative, and different from your average wedding video - I wanted our video to stand out and speak to our vibrant & upbeat style, while still mixing in some vintage feel and modern twist. When I viewed The Vision Field's work, I knew they were the perfect match for us! These two women are some of the most creative (and nicest!!) people I've ever met. I shared my vision with them and they were totally on board from the get go. I never doubted for a second that they understood what I was looking for and would deliver a top quality product. I shared that I wanted a vintage feel (using the toy camera lens) mixed with modern shots; incorporating color with black & white shots; using a lot of fun, creative lighting overlays to make the video pop; mixing slow-mo shots with sped up clips and quick jump cuts; and using fun dance music to match the vibe of our wedding. THEY DID AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE JOB. They took all of my direction extremely well and produced one of the most beautiful pieces of content I've seen - I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with them!! They poured their hearts & souls into our video, which shows in the output. I honestly did not know it was possible to have something like this come together so perfectly and beautifully - they are true masters in their field and unlike any other video producers I've seen. The final product is so innovative and curates the exact feel I wanted for our wedding video. Along with there insane talent, they are also two of the most genuinely kind souls I've encountered. They are super responsive via email/text, and take all of your wants into account when creating a piece of work for you. They involve you every step of the way and double check on preferences throughout the editing process - it's so clear that they want the customer to be 100% happy with the final output. At the event itself, they were very timely, respectful, and easy to work with. They were excellent at instructing my husband & I on how to pose and what cool shots to get. They did a wonderful job at incorporating shots of EVERYTHING - family, friends, different parts of the event, the venue, decor, etc. They checked all my boxes and more. Through all of the vendors I worked with for my wedding, The Vision Field was hands down my favorite one. Do yourself a favor and hire them immediately. They are incredible. My experience working with The Vision Field has been wonderful from the very beginning. They have exceeded all my expectations throughout the project. They understood right away what I was looking for and needed. The video they created for me was very creative and well put together. One can see that they put a lot of thought and hard work into the project. Erica and Laura are very nice and easy to work with. They answered all of my questions promptly. I was very happy to receive positive feedback from Perry Katz, (ex-marketing chief at Universal Pictures) saying that the video has good production values and that he enjoyed it very much. Also, William Goldstein (recording artist, composer, and producer) whose music I used in the video is looking forward to seeing more of my dance videos made with The Vision Field. Going back to making dance videos with TVF is a dream come true. Please, look at their website! It is very impressive. Sincerely, Ana Luisa Johnson read more

We made a late decision to hire a videographer for our wedding in Palm Springs and are so thankful The Vision Field were available. Laura and Erica were extremely easy to work with, took the time to understand what we were looking for and executed flawlessly. The teaser video they edited for us is absolutely perfect and has been a joy to share with our friends and family and such an amazing reminder of our wedding day. My wife and I feel so grateful to have had The Vision Field on board to capture our big day and to have that footage to treasure forever. read more

No one can believe how incredible my wedding video is!!!! I had a blowout wedding in LA, with the ceremony at a cathedral-style church and a reception/cocktail hour at the hip Line Hotel. I needed videographers to somehow, someway, capture it all, and they went way above and beyond what I expected. The captured EVERYTHING, but more than that was the way they put the video together. The way the music was integrated is my favorite thing, as i am a musician. The best way I can describe it is: Joseph Kahn meets Say Yes to the Dress! Catching all the beauty a bride would want, but putting it together in a way that someone watching it always (yes, always) asks who did my video and compliments how great it is. And also, I must say that I am someone who is extremely critical. I don't generally like the way I look in photos - but Laura and Erica made me look so beautiful and captured such loving shots of my husband and me. I am also, admittedly, importunate - never ONCE did they seem annoyed or taxed by my emails or questions. This is my final comment: the night before my wedding I had a nice welcome party where I actually performed some music and made a few speeches. I relied on a family member to record this on his camera. And, even though he calls himself a professional, he did not do it and all I ended up with was a slew of excuses. My one regret from my wedding is that I didn't hire Vision Field to film that also. I at least had the good judgement to have them at my wedding, and the video they created is invaluable and brings me so much joy - if I only had photos, I would have missed about 70% of memories from my wedding day. DO NOT skimp on the wedding video, get one - and DO NOT rely on "Uncle Moe." Enjoy your day and hire Vision Field, they will take care of you memories and put their heart into it. read more

There isn't nearly enough time or space to express my genuine delight with Erica. I have known her for 8 years and within that time she has amazed me with her talent and creativity. After hiring her to shoot and produced multiple videos of my nutritional lectures, I could think of no better person to go to for something more personal...my wedding! You don't trust just anyone to document one of the most important days of your life. I wanted something memorable, of course, yet something that felt very different than the typical wedding video ( I don't do cheesy:) I was always impressed by her music video work I had seen, so I requested something in than vein. She not only delivered, but exceeded anything I could have imagined. Not only does she have the vision to make your project a truly unique gift, but she truly listens to and cares about her client. That mindset, in my humble opinion, is what gives her the vision to create superb products that go beyond expectation. read more

My husband and I were on the search for a wedding videographer. From the moment I started viewing their photos and videos on The Vision Field webpage, I was very intrigued. They shoot all kinds of video, music videos, commercials, film, and photos. After viewing their online portfolio, we liked their style. I immediately contacted them about our interest in having them film our wedding reception. Laura was very quick to reply and was already so sweet and friendly. I felt like I already knew them before I met them in person. Such friendly and easy going ladies, that make you feel at ease, even with cameras directed at you. They arrived so early during the bridal party glam session and made sure to capture those special candid moments with the girls. They accompanied our photographers for a fun photo shoot on the beach, outside of our reception area. We had a lot of fun with our action shots. My husband and I were already married in a civil ceremony in the Dominican Republic, but had the reception for family and friends here in LA, so we had no ceremony. But they were very creative in editing the video to include memorable speeches and our song, our first dance song, which practically symbolized the beginning of our relationship. Watching the video brought tears of joy to my eyes, as it did all of my friends and family. EVERYONE was praising our highlight video on how beautifully it was done. I couldn't have envisioned anything more perfect for us. They made sure to stay in touch during the editing process to get a feel of our likes, and share any ideas. Communication was great, and extremely prompt. They really took the time to get to know us. These ladies are a class act. An extremely talented and very professional duo. Make sure you visit their page and view their work. They are creative film makers, not just your average wedding videographer. Follow them on Facebook or Instagram. You will surely be impressed by their work. I can't praise them enough! Thank you so much for everything, Laura and Erica!!! It was a pleasure working with you! read more

My wife and I hired Laura and Erica at The Vision Field to be the videographers at our wedding and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire lengthy wedding planning process. First of all, Laura and Erica were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were always extremely quick to respond to all of our questions whether they be related to the type of equipment they would be using or the type of videography we wanted them to capture. During our planning meeting with them over the phone they also knew how to ask us all the right questions in order to make sure they would provide us with exactly the type of service we were expecting. And they were always happy and full of energy, which somehow made us even more excited for the big day as it approached. When the wedding day came they arrived early and were fully prepared with all of their equipment. Our ceremony was at a Catholic church, our reception was in the backyard of a private residence, and we stopped for wedding party photos at a third location in between, and throughout all of this movement Laura and Erica were always able to keep up with the group without us having to worry about them. What actually made us most happy with The Vision Field, in fact, is how they managed to capture every single important moment of our wedding day without ever distracting or getting in the way of us or any of our guests. We hardly noticed that they were there at all, and yet they still ended up delivering incredible footage that perfectly captured every aspect of our ceremony and reception. Whenever my wife and I relive our wedding memories by watching and listening to all the high-quality video and audio, we feel as if we're still there, and in this way Laura and Erica have made our wedding last forever. They're not only videographers and photographers but also musicians and audio engineers, and they therefore know exactly how to record and deliver a perfect product package. We certainly made the right choice by asking The Vision Field to be there with us on our big day and we're thrilled with all that they have done for us. They are good people and experienced professionals, and we fully recommend that you choose to work with them too! read more
