They were very responsive and said they had availability. I requested something small because the backyard is not very big. They asked me for the measurements, which I provided, and we were able to move forward with booking. The next day they showed up on time, however the very large, 800 pound slide, did not fit through either gate. I asked them to bring it in through the house but they said it was a liability. They offered to set up in the front yard but said it would require sandbags to keep the slide leveled and would be more expensive. Because we have small children and on a budget we decided that would not be best. The employee told us since they couldn't set it up we would receive a full refund and provided an email address to send the request to. I sent the email and Alex responded with an "I'm sorry we couldn't make it work". My card was still charged 2 days later. I reached out again, no answer. I called and left a message. 3 weeks later after no refund, I decided to try emailing again. This time Alex informed me that they have a no cancellation policy and would not be issuing a refund, except I did not cancel. He states his employees do not have the authority to offer refunds and he would not be issuing a refund. I was never once asked about the access to the backyard ahead of time. I gave all the information they requested prior to booking. I'm at a loss as to why I have to pay when they were unable to deliver what we reserved. I already had a very disappointed birthday girl and now I'm out $275.

The primary issue is that two of the three games didn't work. The inflatable skeeball machine came with a torn power cord for the blower. The inside wires were clearly exposed, and as a result, it kept deflating. With a lot of duct tape, we were able to get it to function for the three hours. The other, which operated on just a simple 9v battery, died after one use, and of course, we didn't have another 9v battery. Fortunately, a neighbor did, so we were able to get it fixed within an hour. (The third game did not have any electronic parts.) They were also very odd with the contract. You pay a deposit, then - even though they have your credit card - you have to "authorize payment" in full two day before. Totally fine. Except that I did authorize payment both by email and text, well in advance of the deadline - and they STILL cancelled my order and attempted to charge me a "reinstatement fee," which I had to call to fight with them to get it removed. Failed to respond to emails asking for additional rental of tables. We also had to pay a "late pickup" fee because our event started at 6, and they refused to pick up any later than 9pm, despite paying the late pick up fee and repeated requests over the weeks leading up to the event, including offers to pay more for a later pick up. Literally, kids are playing at 9:03, and they disconnected the power. Overall, they just weren't nice, and the equipment was pretty sad and worn down. Definitely will stick with the tried and true companies, who seem to appreciate their customers and to understand that renting party stuff should be JOYFUL and FUN, not mean and difficult.
