Very bad experience with this apartment complex. The management is dishonest and the service is terrible. The Spanish-speaking lady in the office treats people very poorly and behaves in a discriminatory and disrespectful way. They take money from application fees even when everything is in order, and there is no fairness or transparency in the process. Many people are treated badly while management continues collecting money from applications. This place is very unprofessional and unfair. I would not recommend anyone applying here unless you want to risk losing your money and being treated poorly. read more

A great place to live! I stayed here for 6 months and moved only because I was moving states, but my time here was nice! There are decent amenities (a gym and a pool), and the staff are very nice, Jessica, Laura at the leasing office, and CJ at maintenance are great! They were so nice to me and my family while I was moving in to an apartment for the first time. It's also close to ALDIs, Autozone, The Frisco Athletic Center (all literally walking distance), Walmart, Starbucks, Planet Fitness, are like a 2-5 minute drive. The apartment complex was well taken care of, and it's a very family friendly environment. I never really had anything bad to say about my time here! It was great! read more

We've lived here 12 years. The management and maintenance team are outstanding. They do a great job of hiring people who take pride in serving the residents. Jennifer, Jessica, and Michelle are always responsive. Jose in the maintenance department handles emergency requests promptly and thoroughly. We love the tree lined grounds and the outstanding upkeep. read more

This place is horrible. I was here for over two years and the hot tub never worked. This place is also not too secured. They don't have cameras and the maintenance staff is constantly leaving because they don't get paid well. The only good thing they have is that they are close to the Frisco Atletic Center but that's about it. This place is also not cheap. You can go elsewhere in Frisco for a little less and still be in good school districts. If you want proof, go in and ask what their vacancies are. They have tons of tenants constantly leaving because they will raise your rent as soon as the contract is up, regardless. And on the way out, they will take your deposit regardless what condition you leave the apartment in and say they needed to replace the carpet or come up with some lame excuse. My advise is, look elsewhere and avoid this place like a plague !!! read more

I have lived here for over a year and I couldn't ask for better management. I rented my apartment over the phone from out of state and the staff couldn't have made the process any smoother. My air conditioning recently went out on a weekend and staff was at my apartment within 2 hours at 9 PM on a Saturday night with portable units. First thing Monday morning they had staff working on the problem and they didn't hesitate to call an electrician that same day to fix the issue even after 6:00PM. Both maintenance and the office staff have been amazing! There are a lot of families and I always feel safe walking around the complex at night. Delayed on the move in date. They also scheduled an appointment for the internet folks to come install at 9 am on Friday and the cleaning people said they don't open till 10am. I proved it to them by taking the sign off and showing them their own office timings. But they did not want to talk to anyone that early even though the people were in their offices. I got home late tonight from holiday travels. I had a work order put in for the left side of the cabinet that had broken (it was the right side that had fallen but I was confused). Then I got a call saying that they had accidentally broken a mug of ours in the right cabinet. It was a mug I had gotten from my husband and my first anniversary trip to Walt Disney World. They told me they found it on Amazon and were going to replace it. I said thank you for offering to buy us it (it meant a lot to me). Of course I was thankful and shocked that they had even offered. When I got home the sweetest note was left for us. They apologized for breaking something that could be sentimental, but here was the kicker. When the shelf fell I had to take out all of the spices on that shelf. I was dreading to have to put it all away when I got home from traveling. But you know what Julie did? She put it all away for me. You may think this was simple but it was not to me. It was the extra step she knew I needed. The Vineyards cares about their tenants like you would not believe. When we first were going to move in, Jennifer told us the night before she was putting all new carpets in for us because they were not up to par. The people who work here are not normal apartment complex employees. They are loving individuals who know what it is like to live in a temporary place like apartments. I have lived here at the Vineyards for over 9 years! As of now, the apartments have never been in better shape! Michelle is by far the best manager that has been here! First, as you drive onto the property it is really beautiful and kept that way! They have just done an extensive restoration of the buildings, painting and carpentry. Personal walk the property daily to pick up trash! Apartments are being upgraded, new appliances are installed, carpet replaced! If you have a concern, a call to the office it will be addressed in a timely manner! The maintenance staff is courteous, efficient and professional! We have no desire to leave! You can't do better than moving to The Vineyards Apartments! We are so happy here! read more

I am very upset that community safety is not more of a concern of this complex and the parent company. The gates are supposed to help you feel protected and safe within your home however they were very rarely working....even when a MURDER was committed across the street....the gates stayed open!!! Also, the apartment staff/policies had no respect for personal property. Many times we weren't told our packages were at the office and they always blamed the mailman for any confusion. I had a gift (didn't know it was sent) that sat there for 2 months. They also don't get the packages for you...you can go back and take what's yours or someone else's. The apartments were very large in the price point but the complex is very dated. They tried to "update" the countertops but laying thin, cheap vinyl over the tops. The windows are not sealed very well and the efficiency of the units were quite horrible in the summer. If we had to rent again, I would definitely look somewhere else and not with the same parent company bc if the policies are bad at one they are bad at them all! read more

This place has gone down-hill....I used to be happy here, but ever since a fire destroyed the Clubhouse, residents have been unable to use any of the amenities since OCTOBER 2016. The SECURITY GATE is UN-OPERATIONAL, I had a package STOLEN from the Leasing office JUST LAST WEEK!!! The Leasing office was moved from the fire stricken building to a ground floor apartment. Apparently, no alarms or cameras are available at this ground floor apartment. We are still required to pay FULL-PRICE for rent but no use of the gym, swimming pool, tanning bed, movie theater room, business center, etc. NEW NEWS......I spoke with the Regional Manager, Brad Laramie at Michelson Realty on June 6, 2017 and he advised me that there will be NO Resident Compensation for the lack of amenities. Stated that the insurance company would not pay for that. I have been in touch with News Channel 5 and will be contacting an attorney today to get us some Legal Advice. If anyone is interested in more information, please feel free to message me and I will add your name to my list. We as Texas Residents that do have RIGHTS! read more

When we visited The Vineyards in Frisco we were greeted by Charles, the leasing consultant. He was very relatable and friendly and he is the reason that we immediately decided to lease an apartment. He went out of his way to help us out and was extremely genuine and made us feel at home. I have worked as a leasing consultant in the past and he knows his stuff and was excellent to work with. It is rare to find someone who has such good work ethic and genuinely cares about people. Any company would be SO lucky to have him on their team. read more

I moved into the Vineyards apartments recently and I am really impressed. The office staff was very helpful in helping me get moved in from my relocation to Texas. The apartment is giant and in a great location to any shopping you need and some cool restaurants. I like the theater and gym is open late helps a lot but I really love the pools with fountains and Jacuzzi! Very happy with my choice to make my home here!! read more

I was really interested in applying for a 1 bedroom apartment here but the customer service is horrible, I called the office within business hours, the first time my call was declined, they hung up on me, so I called again and the same thing happened....I guess they're not really interested in getting new business? Their website provides very vague information and does not give you prices for anything which seems kind of silly because thats the most important information for any potential resident to have. I was calling to ask about pricing, deposits and application fees because I was ready to apply today, but after experiencing the carelessness they have I'm a little worried I might experience the same carelessness when becoming a resident so I have carried on my search to some other properties in the area. read more

This place is trash and so is the assistant manager Crystal. She is the manager of this place and lives onsite and all she ever does is drink and smoke on her patio. One night she was literally passed out in her chair she looked dead with all of the alcohol bottles sitting right next to her. The people that work here will tell you whatever they have to to get you to fill out the application. They did not get back to me within the timeframe if your contract allows and told me that I was no longer entitled to my refund because then waited almost 2 weeks for the response. I had made several attempts to contact them was told by one of the managers that he was going to look after myfile from that point and never heard from him again. They basically stole $250 from me. I just moved from this complex after 8 years. I always had great service from both the office and maintenance staff. The apartment layout is really nice (not like your typical apartment that you walk in and all rooms are right in front of you). When I had maintenance issues they were always so quick to come and take care of the problem. I understand cost of living and market rates and having to increase rent at renewal time but after so long living there and the increases etc had to find another place that was less expensive but do not have anything negative to say overall. read more

My girlfriend and I lived here for year and a half, and to be honest we only stayed that long because we didn't know any better. Maintenance is a joke. You can call about something one day and it'll be weeks before they even show up. We had a broken draw in the bathroom that no joke took them 2 months to fix. Parking is atrocious. If you get home after 8 on a weekday, very seldom will you find a spot anywhere near your building, I've worked late before and had to park at the very back of the complex and we lived by the front! Management is also a joke. We were given the option to upgrade our appliances on our second lease for 50 extra dollars a month so we agreed. 6 months later and still no new appliances! And yet they still were charging us for them! We had to call 3 months in a row to have them take that charge off our rent. Also, we could literally hear every step our upstairs neighbors took and whenever they flushed the toilet. Paper thin walls and floors. The pool water was warm and not cleaned during the summer which was disappointing. The gate breaks all the time so forget about a safe, "gated" community. One positive i can say is that there's a Domino's right next door! Make no mistake, not once did I ever feel like I was living in a "luxury apartment" as they advertise. You like the looks? think again. They will act nice and the pretty smooth talking will trap you. I cleaned every inch of the kitchen counter, bathroom and overall apartment still ended up paying $250+ because i need to pay for carpet replacement and odor treatment. And you think you have time to make payment well hell no. you got 10 days and letter you receive about these charges are more like threat. Pay up or meet our legal department. No option to pay online like the rest of the rent! Apart from that, the "gated" community is a joke since the gate stays open at all times. They will warn you if you leave your trash out on a day when trash is not picked up but if they forget to pick the trash of the said day then it alright its your fault that you still left it outside. Paper thin walls. Overall, worst apartment experience i ever had and Derek's the worst. My first review ever to any service and its a negative one for the horrible experience i had.
