Can't even reach the receptacle, so then you're forced to leave your trash out too. Who is to blame here?

The office staff and prompt maintenance are two of the best things about The View. Additionally, the pool and gym are well maintained. I never saw any roaches in my apartment, only spiders. I sprayed the place with rosemary & lavender essential oil and the spider problem was gone. Concerning the back of the complex, the gate is always open and it shouldn't be when one is paying $2000 for a tiny 565 sq ft apartment. Let's talk about the trash area. It is deplorable. Imagine you are dressed well for work. and you have to throw your trash away. There is a minefield of duck poop to navigate through just to put your garbage inside the receptacle. Not to mention people just dump their trash in the open. And sometimes you can't even walk into the area. They threaten with cameras but the camera does not work and nothing is ever done. The maintenance staff has to clean it up just every weekend. I feel so bad for them. There has to be a better way. Finally and most egregious is the pricing. Rather than retaining good tenants, they raise the price significantly every year. They wanted me to pay $1906 but as I tracked online, the rental rate would fluctuate from $1650 - $2173. The property manager tried to help me but the greed at the corporate level was just too much. The other three tenants in our nook moved with the same issue. At one point I was going to have my sister rent the apartment as a new tenant for $1650 and move right back in. Needless to say, the apartment sat empty for almost six months while I found an apartment for cheaper, in a nicer development with a huge screened in patio. In the end, it worked out for me and they lost substantial revenue. For one to two years, this place is OK. Anything over that, you are going to be ripped off, and it's not worth it for the tiny space. They want to say it's the amenities, but you can't live at the pool.

Disgusting and roach infested. Definitely not worth the money. I would NOT recommend!

If you plan on renting the place, read the fine line. Charges for community utilities to $20 valet trash and extra charges found on your bill every month. The third party company they use "CON-SERVICE" is a joke. Oceanside and ConService like to point finger at each other and at the end of the day, nothing will be explained or resolved. My flooring had glue leaks, water damage from the unit above me and multiple over charge water utilities when I was away for work and not even home. Yet they seem to always find an excuse or brush the issue off. Gate is never working, so kids are always using the club house, people housing more then they can fit and cars are being broken into. It took three managements teams to finally come to me to try to resolve the issue. The crazy part was that they wanted to give me $200 to sign basically an NDA and have the owner and the property management team not at fault for any of the issues. Its not worth the headache to pay the prices they are asking. They will offer you 2700 for a two bedroom for you to find out two months after you moved in that they are now renting it out for 2100. They play games and are not looking at your beat interest.

The apartments themselves are decent, with the best feature being the location. However, the company running the apartments needs a serious overhaul in how it operates. Poor community relations between management and residents are the main reason. During my time here, I and many other residents have had multiple negative experiences with how this complex is run. The back gate entrance is constantly broken, and management does not seem to care about security in that area. I've even seen a homeless man sleeping in the bushes at night.Unauthorized cars frequently park in the community to access the nearby plaza along Gateway. Parking spaces are numbered for residents, but if someone parks in your spot after 6 p.m., you are out of luck. The towing company will not come unless someone from the leasing office calls them. Multiple residents, including myself, have tried to propose solutions, such as having a representative available after hours to make those calls, but nothing has been done. As a result, residents end up parking on the side of the street or blocking other spots, which congests the entire neighborhood.Maintenance is another major issue. I have experienced multiple instances where it took weeks for requests to be completed, and staff often show up with incorrect information. The team appears disorganized and unprepared. For example, I submitted a request because my washer stopped working. It took two weeks before someone came to inspect it, and only after I went to the office to follow up. When the maintenance worker arrived, he took apart the machine, damaged my floors, and said he needed to order a part. In the process, he disconnected the dryer as well, leaving me without either appliance. He said the part would arrive the following week, but after that, no updates were provided. I had to go back to the office again to ask for updates and request either compensation for laundry expenses or access to another unit's laundry facilities. Both requests were denied.As a result, I have been without laundry for almost a month and repeatedly follow up with the office because they do not communicate with residents. On multiple occasions, I was told I would receive a call with updates, but days would pass with no follow-up.There was also an incident involving a storm where large tree branches fell and damaged several residents' cars. One car had a broken windshield and lost a side mirror, and my car was badly scratched. These overgrown trees clearly needed trimming, yet management claimed it was not their responsibility. They refused to use their insurance to cover the damages caused by their lack of maintenance.One lesson I learned is: The provided insurance they offer only benefits them. They offer landlord liability insurance, which does not cover renters. You can purchase renter's insurance and landlord liability coverage elsewhere for a similar price. Lastly, the garbage is consistently overcrowded, and at night you can often see raccoons and rodents running around. As soon as you walk into the sales office/rent office. You are in awe because the place is super nice. The pool bbq area is UNBELIEVABLE. Got to see it for yourself Believe me is as if you just walked into a resort . And Jennifer the young lady in charge of all this operation is really great. She explained everything show us the apartments options that we have etc.. . Anytime I needed something or had questions she was always available. She made us feel at ease and comfortable in making our moving in decision So anyways if you are looking for and amazing apartment complex to live. Don't look any further. THE DISTRICT AT BOYNTON BEACH has it all . On top of that they have a dog park right (different pens for different sizes) next to it. Target Walmart Publix Bjs Post office restaurants all kinds of intertainment. gyms LA Fitness (AOS GYM) is basically across the street. Everything is soooo conveniently close. Granted, it was great and spacious, but since I have bad knees and hips, it was no longer convenient for me to walk up and down three floors every day. We were looking at other places when Sophia told us about a 2 BR/2 BT 1st floor apartment facing the lake... she saved us! We love our apartment! To have the view of the lake when you wake up in the morning just puts you in the right frame of mind. My dogs love it, too! Since there's a bush in front of the living room window, they are not bothered that much by the people passing by. I swear they barked more when we were in the townhouse. I also want to commend the maintenance team; their response time is very fast! When we have an issue, such as plumbing or whatnot, it's usually less than 24 hours between putting the request in and someone coming to check on the issue. Ivan is quick, and he is also very friendly to our dogs. He will let you know what the problem is right away. We find this community peaceful, despite having a major road (Congress Ave.) so close by. It feels hidden away from the busy street and is quite tranquil. We hope to stay here for many years to come.
