Needed medication overnighted to me in California. The "manager" gave me attitude on the phone when I suggested he keep my card on file for frequent mail forwarding. He kept arguing in a condescending manner. The package never arrived. After inquiring with UPS, they said he appeared to have deliberately avoided the Saturday delivery option on Memorial Day weekend, even though I had paid for Next Day Air and made it clear it was important to receive it on Saturday. His sabotage of the shipment resulted in it not arriving until Tuesday, 3 days after I seriously was about to start having oxygen deprivation to my brain. No one had this medication locally in stock so I was depending on this critical shipment. When I returned from out of town to confront this clown with his mistake, he called me an "asshole" and closed my account, even though my contract with UPS says I am entitled to 6 months of mail forwarding after closure. He claimed I was "abusive" to him. Now I get to sue. read more

I stopped in today to mail off a package. My dealing with associate Matt was rather unpleasant. The moment I walked in, I was made to feel like I imposing on him. From his interaction and body language, it basically conveys that he was very put-upon for having to deal with a customer. I used to go to the Eureka UPS store before I moved out to Wildwood. After this experience, I am willing to drive a little out of my way so I can get some decent service, where they value the customers they serve. I was hesitant to go to this location because of the negative reviews. I had only a package to be sent back to Amazon. I entered the store said I had an Amazon return handed the package over to the young employee He prints out a receipt for me hands it to me and then says his only words "Have a nice day". If he doesn't like his job look for one he does. I would go back only for convenience read more

I recently went this location to drop off a few packages. One being ready to ship with label. The other 2 needing a scan code. Upon arrival a gentleman had several boxes and was being waited on. The employee mentioned it would be several minutes before he could get to me. I replied no problem. As I was waiting the prior customer offered to have my packages taken care of because of how many he was sending off (At least a dozen) The employee ignored him. I was fine with waiting but appreciated the man offering. A few minutes later a man about the age of 40 plus came in with a package waiting his turn. The employee casually said to this customer, you have a package ready to go, I could take care of it., Scanned gave the man his receipt and off he went. I honestly was upset but said nothing. As the other customer went outside to get the rest of his packages to get weighed etc I said nicely to the employee, "could I ask you a question" He said sure, and I asked why was the person that just left waited on before me. Employee stated., He was here before you and I said, no he was not. Employee stated. oh well I guess you were hosed. REALLY., unacceptable. This store is filled with rudeness. Looking for a horrible notary? This is the place for you. Jake (owner and notary) provided the absolute worst customer experience I have received in a very long time. Called earlier in the day and was told the notary would be in at 4 and they close at 7. Got there a little after 4 and was told he went to grab a sandwich and should be back in 5 - 10 minutes. No problem, I will go do a little grocery shopping. Came back in about 15 minutes and still not back. Continued waiting as I really needed to have something notarized. The two staff members were great. Apologized profusely. They texted him and called. Was told he would be back soon. Better to wait then drive to another location. Had he been honest with his staff and told them he would not be back for an hour and 15 minutes I would have left. However he did not do that. When he finally arrived no apology or anything. More of a smug attitude. Here is the kicker - he knew a customer had been waiting for the notary service. He then says well let me go look and see if I have my book and notary too. He did not. Unbelievable. His reply was I didn't have to stay. Had I known, I never would have. He is a very irresponsible business owner and put his staff in a very awkward position. I just got off the phone with Jason, and I have to say, he was the most helpful person ever! I had some questions regarding cost of shipping and proper methods for shipping specific items. He was so insightful and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I know some of my questions were a little annoying and difficult to answer, but he was so patient with me.
