Also, did you not have a inventory list of everything that the Movers had taken & loaded on the truck from your house? This would've easily distinguished what was missing or not. You should have had papers showing details on every furniture pieces, & boxes that were shipped during your move. If you didn't get that, then that's your fault. But it sounds the company had an inventory list to determine that there was no items missing. Anyway, good luck on your next move. And remember if you leave trash in your trash container, & movers load it up on the truck, don't blame them because you didn't handle your business before they got there. Take your on trash out. We had to stay in a hotel those extra days which they paid for (even though we got compensated for half our food expenses). Then when our refrigerator was brought in and I opened it up it had boxes and our toilet brush we use to clean our toilets in it. (Driver tried to deny it happened). Then we did not get all of our boxes. We filed a claim with the Andrews Forwarders, Inc. but once again the driver denied he did not give us all of our stuff. The moving company made it seem like we were lying. Told us our stuff did not cost what we claimed. This was back in August. We finally received a check from Andrews Forwarders, Inc. for $20.00 for a drain hose we filed a claim for our washer in addition to our refrigerator and lost boxes. We received check on January 18th. Almost six months after claim was filed with company. A letter was attached stating there was no evidence that our things were missing because driver said he gave us all of our boxes. However they did send out a cleaning crew to clean our refrigerator. We never used the refrigerator again. It had been contaminated by toilet brush and boxes. They were not professional and their administrative office made us feel like we were thieves. I used to move furniture for a living and I never seen anyone put a toilet brush in refrigerator. Think twice before using this company. It was the worst move I have ever been involved with

He can't see very well any more and was wanting a phone with bigger buttons. I explained exactly what I wanted and was shown a phone that seemed like it might work. I said he is unable to travel to the store and would have to take it to him to show him. "Sure, no problem!" Well, it was a problem! I wasn't different enough from him current phone so took it back to the store. "Well sir, you opened the box, therefore we are going to charge you a $50 Restocking Fee". I tried to explain to Sarah and then Fred (who was supposed to be the manager) exactly what i told the original sales person but both kept saying, "oh i'm sorry but i can't do anything about it". So what should have been a good experience and a good deed for my father if it had worked out, cost me $50 for having the phone for an hour of time. Unbelievable! There can be 3 or 4 people working and no one will make eye contact, they don't say "hello," nor do they say anything such as "we will be with you as soon as possible." Franchised Verizon stores are not generally vey good, but this one wins the prize for worst customer service ever! This is a perfect example of why we use Verizon online or a Verizon owned store whenever possible. The owner(s) of this store need to invest in serious, hard core customer service training for the employees.
